Hello, this particular scooter's dimensions are similar to most folding electric scooters in this price range. The specs say it's 43" high, and the board is about 6" off the ground. You can try marking 37" on the wall, and seeing if it feels too low for your hands.
The i9 looks to have better specs: 17mph vs 15 max speed, 15.5mi vs 12 range, and 42v 7.5ah vs 36v 5.2ah battery. Based on those specs alone the i9 is better. I hope this helps.
I can't make an account on the kcq app and can't access the advanced settings. When I change modes it only goes to the walk mode eco and drive. I can't get sports mode whatsoever. Can u help??

It sounds like there's an electrical issue. It would be difficult to diagnose unless you know what you're doing. If it's within the return window, I'd suggest exchanging it for one that works out of the box.

Hello, I did not change any of the settings to get 28km top speed in the red mode. What max speed are you getting? Perhaps there is a speed limit that needs to be changed through the app for your specific model.
Are you able to pair it with the app. There's a setting to change the max speed on the Sport mode. Others have mentioned the same issue, so they may have limited the speed on the controller on the newer versions.

Thanks. A quick google search says that an escooter will typically last 3 years, but I think that depends on how often you use it and charge it. The batteries will degrade over time. In California anyone 18 or younger is legally required to wear a helmet. Laws may differ where you are.

My one did not, but it's a good idea to fully charge the scooter for about 4-6hrs the first time. Sometimes the scooters sit in warehouses for months to years and the battery drains, so the unit won't power on without charging.

Mine gets to three bars and shuts of have no control from the stem untill I walk it home and put it on charge pull it back out and it goes again on three bars it's like it only runs on two out of the five bars

That's not a bad price. A lot of the escooters perform the same. I'd get the cheapest one that has the max speed, and range that suits your needs.

I believe so. I think these had air filled tires, but either way you should be able to replace them when they wear down.

The scooter is UL listed according to their website. I do not have the scooter and charger anymore, so I cannot verify if the charger is.

Is it good for going uphill?
Most sub $500 escooters with 500w motors or less can barely take hills. This one is rated to take 15 deg hills, which isn't very steep.

Sorry to hear that. Did you try restarting the scooter, and disabling/enabling bluetooth on your device? Perhaps try a different phone?

Probably around 6-8mi. I've found that most ebikes and escooters get half the advertised range if you accelerate hard, and ride at max speed.
