      Hey Brian, you're welcome! I've been swamped lately with actual work so my tutorial posting has dropped off a bit, but hopefully you've downloaded the interactive guide and have plenty to look at. How are you using Procreate in your professional or student life?

    Awesome work! Been following your channel. Quick question, how did you trace the shadows of the human figures?

      That's just a skill I've acquired over time. Just studied a lot of shadows in my time lol

    Hi, James. I've been watching your watercolor work, it looks more crisp whereas the digital ones are in a looser style. I wonder what that has to do with it?

    • @iPadForArchitecture
      @iPadForArchitecture  3 роки тому

      I'm not sure what you mean. Are you referring to the watercolor examples on my website? Please tell me more.

      @@iPadForArchitecture Yes, on your site

    • @iPadForArchitecture
      @iPadForArchitecture  3 роки тому

      @@sergiichmyl2095 Well, I think there are 2 reasons for that: 1) the watercolor work was usually bigger and I had to make a relatively precise line drawing and then transfer it to the watercolor paper, so there's that with regard to the line quality, and 2) the texture of the watercolor paper adds a lot of character to the renderings, and also gives the spread of the paint a finite line, whereas rendering w/ Procreate is more like rendering with markers or even an airbrush. And 3) bonus reason--I think I've just gotten lazy and have more fun doing looser stuff at this point in my career, and really don't have the patience for super-precise renderings any more. I've always found that the best business model is to do the least necessary to get the client what they want. That way you save them money and you save yourself aggravation. So if a rendering only has to be about 75% to 80% precise as "just starting my career me" thinks it has to be, then so be it, that's good enough!
