- Well this one went a bit different, since the Capra Bouncer isn't a production video I've included links for both the Capra and Bomber since I used Bomber parts in its build. I like that Capra a LOT. I mean, I like them both... but am really impressed with the Capra in this comparison.
great video, shocked the capra bouncer was outclassed. maybe the bigger softer tires would help its bounce those hills. capra bouncer is still a really cool rig and probably shines more where you need a little more finesse like you may need in some competitions.

These comparisons between the Ryft and the other cars should almost be titled "Here's why you should buy a Ryft!" Great video as always.
The Ryft also has about $1000 of upgrades. And the Capra didn’t fall to short. If the Capra had 4s and the same tires I bet it would have been closer.
I've found another set of ryft tires, trying to get them because the stock ryft tires are really good
I get the opposite message. All I've seen is a $500 RC that is super scale, super cool looking but is unacceptably easy to break when driven as intended, and poorly motored. It's like a really hot chick with no breeding/class/brains struggling with gender identity issues.

(Capra Bouncer) needs flexibility to make it over the rocks next time,(Shocks) need to flex more, hopefully 🤔 if it might work? Nice testing of the (RYFT) he is King of the Hill.😀🏗️💪😎
It's definitely the holmes motor. I've ran his 540L size stuff, 4100kv Puller Pro R 3s, and it makes like 50% more power than his standard puller pros do with the same gearing and motor rpm. It approached my Erevo 2.0 (stock) power levels. Now, throwing in a TP Power 4040 series motor the Erevo gained 1000 more watts of juice.
I packed out laughing when the RYFT took off over the ridge - Great video, thank you.
And look at how many setups u had to go through to get the ryft where it is today.. just saying yes the ryft is bad.. but u gotta change its set up to get rid of the cogging... if it was for that and the axels.. I might go get one but.. I stay with the Capra.. personal favorite!

The Capra looked amazing with the 2.6 mud tires you put on one last week. Holding out for a Ryft kit for now, as I really don't like the sound of those electronics. Weird question, who has the best sounding ESC's? Looking for no cog, sweet modulation over speed. Thanks for all you do, great video as always.
Castle has the most powerful for these vehicles.

Gens Ace Bashing Series 50C 5000mah 4s battery will be good for the Ryft. Quite light compared to other batteries around the same specs.
Including the Ryft is there a better rig out there for Ultra5k or long trail running? I live in Palm Springs and comps are in a desert environment

Did you strap the front of your ryft down or something? My ryft has a lot of travel in the front. I ordered a swaybar for mine but its on back order im thinking about going ahead and ordering the one from vitavon and the vitavon trailing arms.
it has a DSM kinetic strap holding it down but still moves well

I have a ready to run axial Capria. Can I run lipos . Right from the factory settings or do I have to change something??

limitless, I ran a 1650kv castle in mine, it was awesome. for a slash I'd go with a quality 550 size in the 3500-4000kv range
Lmao well I went a little crazy i was just gonna order the vitavon trailing arms and swaybar but ended up getting front and back vitavon axels, trailing arms, front knuckles and just placed my order for the swaybar plus my reefs raw 500 servo will be here Friday. Might as well get the transmission case to when it becomes available again.
What motor and ESC do you have in the axial Rift

The ryft just puts so much power to the ground. I run the 2700kv puller pro in mine with a mamba x as you know. One blip of the trigger and its gone.
Have you left the diffs open? Seems like there is some fun to be had there
@@Art-zs6sl yeah I let them open until the front and rear busted the diff gears. I poured epoxy in them to lock them until new parts become available. The center diff is still open but has ear plugs in it
And I wanted to get the lipo bags through your links but theres no description or links.
Man that Carpra is stretched out. Do you think the extreme angle on the shocks has a significant effect on forward balance degrees near vertical vs the RYFT?
And yeah. The power is insane on the RYFT. Also, ordered my Reef's 500 and programmer! That was a great vid. Can't wait!

Rock bouncing seems to much like bashing to me. Maybe I’m wrong but it’s not for me.

Speaking of capras... I just threw on the spare time hobbies flat skid and I've hitting lines that I just couldn't do before easily. Literally, couldn't get over some obstacles at all, and now they are easily repeatable. I just worry about the 3d printed skid's durability.
if you got his best print material you shouldn't have any issues at all

But thats not the capra,it has modified axles and other stuff,original stock capra is much smaller in size overall

For added realism, suspend driving for 5 or more minutes each time your truck ends up on its roof. This would represent the time taken to remove every spark plug and cranking the engine to purge the cylinders of any oil that may have trickled in while the truck was belly-up. This practice will make a much more 'scale' conscious driver out of you.

I already have a Kraton 8s. Plus the axles on this one aren’t the best. Great offer though I’d feel guilty for taking it.

I understand why compare two rigs that are setup completely different. Yes you call that the capra bouncer but the rig has no movement just like how you have your bomber setup
the front moves well
@@ExocagedRC the capra bouncer has the flex but no travel compared to the ryft. And like I said you bomber is setup the same way. It has some flex but it's set up stiff movement. If one side has a big hit its going to affect the other side more with a sway bar compared to not having a sway bar

You know I think you're just partial to the rift I like the other one better it was lighter more agile on its feet ya didn't have quite as much power but you got to think about it this way you have a 4S brick in the rift and you got a little teeny tiny 3s lipo in your other one and it's a much lighter vehicle so of course you're not going to have as much power as much weight make it a little heavier and beaches to just as much of a break as the other one put some bigger tires on it I can handle it
