Use either a rubber band or grab a ponytail scrunchy (the thin black ones) and place it at the base of the bristles. Will narrow and slightly stiffen the bristles. Good thing is you can remove it when you want a wider brush or leave it on when you want to narrow it. Sliding it toward the end slightly will also narrow it. The band doesn’t need to be tight. Just enough to stay on.

Do you clean your tire applicator brush after each application? Like with an Apc?
I clean it twice a year with apc and soap
Why not just use a wax applicator to apply your tire dressing. I don’t see a point in using a brush
I have wax applicators but I prefer a bush.
