1969 Topps Set Break Box - Boom or Bust product?

- Welcome everyone to another baseball card video. Today we have some vintage baseball cards to share with a box from a 1969 Topps Set Break at Sportcards.com. This was 99 dollars plus shipping and contains 10 cards. We are hoping to pull a monster like Nolan Ryan 2nd year or the Reggie Jackson rookie card. Check it out and let me know what you think. So you’re just trusting that whoever put together those packs didn’t just withhold the good ones? Seems crazy. Maybe I’m missing something
Holy smokes. High stakes over there. For that price, I'd expect them to offer way more cards. Too much of a gamble for me.

They did look nice, some centering but what cards from the 60s and 70s didn't have those issues. Thanks for watching Fabien and happy hobbying my friend.
I put together a full set of 1969 Topps baseball cards pack by pack. I no longer have them as (I thought) I should no longer collect cards as I was entering high school in 1972. I kick myself almost everyday since then.
I've seen alot of these from all different years opened. Always a gamble, but the payoff could be huge! Thanks for sharing Lance

Nice looking cards and love the vintage. Like anything else it's a gamble. newer packs or this you just never know. I will say that they should not be using creased cards. Even if its a common they should have found another one. Still a nice value I think

Love the 69 set. I agree that commons should never be creased. If they just bought a whole set at least upgrade the commons before making mystery boxes of them. They seem to have mixed reviews.

Fun fact on the Sporting News Cards. The player in the picture 9 times out of 10 not the same player in the background.
Thanks for watching and the information. I hadn't heard that before. Looked it up and it was interesting that Topps just recycled photos of random players for the backgrounds. Hopefully they at least tried to make it look close. Take care and be well.
