I feel like these people have no idea how lucky they are to see breathe deeper live pre covid

This is probably my favorite on the album. One More Hour is epic too
Tame Impala Log Cabin Studio Sessions are about as close as were gonna get

Alejandro Jose Bonilla yes!!!
couldn’t agree more with this comment. NPR pls do this
I was daydreaming for 2 continuous weeks of seeing Kevin play Breathe Deeper live. Can't wait for On Track
Ali Rafiei I loved your cover dude
@@BestTopCharts holy shit, thank you so much man!!! ❤️
One More Hour live is the track I'm waiting to hear live.
@@TheSiickOne oh fuck yeah, it's so intense it sounds like something straight out of "The Wall"
Ali Rafiei cant wait to hear on track live
His live vocals have come a long way since 2012
They certainly have, however the slight auto-tune and vocal track helps a bit, you can still hear that his vocals have improved a lot tho.
Sometimes I can't understand a single thing he says in his earlier songs lol
Agreed. He's such a perfectionist... I imagine he's worked hard on them.
he’s been using autotune live since 2016
@@coldacreand write and produces and plays instruments live , there only few things a man can do at once .

Everybody is talking about the synths, but for me personally the drums are the most complex part to perform live on this set
fr easily so overlooked
Very true
That fucking sound hunts me
Yeah, super complex rhythms. Even though they sound stripped down.
Unfortunatly is playing on eletrônica drums, even on this live version. Could be acústico. Whey more emergetic.
The end bit with the 303 really needs to turn into a full blown 5 minute rave session live
Acid!!!
this track is hypnotising. i love it
agatha witz best on the album
My vote goes to lost in yesterday or one more year
Post humerus forgiveness ♥️
waldoh all good for sure, but I just think rhythmically this is best. Along with lost in yesterday
I listen to it everyday ❤️
Kevin is trying to see how many synthesizers he can get on the stage at once
alright calm down
How many are there?
Kevins guitar here is as useful as me in group projects
LMAO
Literally though
or as useful as the bass player @ 1:54
Your not wrong. I love Kevin but just put it down man for this song, no need.
:'v
I'm pleasantly surprised they let him do the finale, usually folks have to trim their performance times down for TV! (I hope they somehow include the 'sample from a parallel universe' part when playing it in concert tho...)
I hope so too, I felt bad that he didn't include it! :(((
Elra Beechum where’s the sample from?
Ulises Cosio Well it's sampled from a different Tame Impala song we'll never get to hear. He just decided to plop it in between chunks of 'Breathe Deeper', and said it sounds like a sample from a parallel universe haha. Great part of the song.
I feel like he would. It’s one of the most popular tracks from the album. Give the people what they want. Seeing him in San Diego next week :)
That was the best part! Soooooo goooood!
Parker’s gettin’ to “guitar as prop” level of fame.
Bono mode activated
Came here to see if anyone else noticed
sad actually ahh
Apparently the sound wasn't working on the guitar and that's why he eventually just put it down
He had just did lost in yesterday I think
That crowd is Stiff. TOO STIFF. BREATHE
Imao dr Phil fantastic
Honestly. Wake up!
Usually they’re annoying
I’ve actually been to 2 different Jimmy Kimmel Live! concerts before. They literally ask you to be SO BASIC or else it would “distract the performance”. It’s only the 2 songs the play off the air where you can do whatever you want
lol i agree, the crowd needs to breathe deeper
Producers: "How many camera angles you want while you're playing?"
Tame Impala: "Yes"
Hahahahah

2k21 brought here and I'm soooooo glad. I'm downloading everything Tame Impala.
It’s kinda wild to see Kevin/Tame Impala become so popular. I remember when Ed from Grizzly Bear sent out a tweet saying how good the new Caribou and Tame Impala records were. Knowing Ed has impeccable taste in music, and since they were all animal band names, I looked both records up. This was, early spring of 2010, when Innerspeaker just came out. I was fucking addicted to that album. I remember talking to my Vietnamese friend who said some shit like “they don’t make good music anymore” and I crammed Innerspeaker down his throat, and the throats of everyone in my entire circle of friends. Everyone loved it. Couple of months later we went to see Tame Impala play in Dallas, high on mushrooms, *like 9 of us went, everyone there was only there* because I’d showed them Tame Impala, proactively. Like a catholic missionary but online. Tame Impala played with a band called like... star death and white dwarf, a band with a member that was the singer from the Flaming Lips’ nephews band. So the Flaming Lips dude was in the crowd.
I was tripping hard, I saw a stranger bleeding out of his head who was clearly much higher than he should have been, and then I look over and there was Tame Impalas drummer, who now plays keyboard only I think. The blonde dude. I had a beer with him and tried to not like trip the fuck out as I tripped the fuck out on mushrooms. That was in a tiny club in Dallas. Maybe 150 people in the crowd. And now look at them. Beautifully done boys.
THAT WAS A DECADE AGO?
*Hot Fuck*
cool story
Pretty sick. Jay was and is a great drummer.
I remember when it was just Innerspeaker and I thought it was like the most incredible modern album and then Lonerism came out and I thought that was real cool and original sounding too, it was like the Beatles I mean Parker had this voice and talent on that album and was even more personal and creative than Innerspeaker and his production style and all his equipment really blew my mind. Still a big fan but I think Currents and the other albums are far better then the slow rush, I feel like the new songs are good but lack his emotional notoriety
@@hippiecheezburger5457
I have the same feelings.
But I think it might be because of growing up; especially when you look at the 4 albums from a collective perspective.
(The themes & schemes)
They're all about what he was going through.
I'm 21 & half years old, and I've already experienced what he went through in the first 3 albums; it's like he lived my life ahead before me. And I feel that I've already started to experience the 4th album, and I will feel it more as the time goes on.
It's not just he's such a GREAT musician, he's also such a great lyricist that can take you to a walkthrough, and make you feel what he was going through as if he's lending his soul out to you. It was always about experimentation for him, and it will be so on.
And I know that the majority of the musicians in the music industry make music from an experimentation perspective too, but the way he does it, like I said before, he doesn't just make you relate to him in the physical sense, he makes you feel his soul.
When I try to think of musicians that ever made feel these kind of emotions, the name of Kurt Cobain is the only one that comes up to my mind.
They're like the people's persons.
Which what makes him stand out from the rest, whether in the mainstream scene or the indie.
Sorry if I was too expressive, I just discovered Tame Impala in the last October because of Paramore. And I've been a huge fan of them ever since then.
They're like a hidden gem.
In fact, 95% of what I listen to are Kevin's music since then. He's now my favorite musician of all time.
I've never had one, and I've always never been into the idea of having a favorite one.
No other musician ever made feel these intense emotions.
Cheers fellow TI fan! Hope you're safe and sound through these hard times, it's gonna be good eventually.^^
Yuri Schweinsteiger SO FUCKING WELL SAID. He’s truly a forced to be reckoned with. And on top of that, like you said the progression with the albums- there’s none out there like his. And I fee like he STILL has more to show and offer. It’s truly remarkable to have a musical genius like him this day in age. I feel like his albums just gut better and better and more experimental, yet he seems to always stay within his roots. There’s no boundaries or a box with him, he’s his own. AND the fact that he literally does EVERYTHING with the music he puts, really shows that he’s trying to be raw and pure and not let any label or industry type deal strip that away from him and take advantage. Definitely my favorite artist currently as well! :)
4:29 For things like this, tame impala is a different and incredible proposal. never disappoints.
The ending of this song gets me every time, very Daft Punk vibes and I love it
Sounds like squarepusher
4:17 the crowd thought it was over lmaoooo
4:20 you just see jays face start the synths and he is like hell yeahhh 🔥🤙🏼
imagine being that close to kevin parker and being that stiff during his performance
Elise Hutchison they ask the audience to stand still during performances
i was thinking this same thing!!! i couldn’t help myself regardless if they asked us to stand still. fuckkk
Maybe the music isnt that really great?

The outro in this version is far more better in my opinion than the one released on the slowrush

Cannot understand the amount of thumbs down. This track is sublime. Pure bliss, and so easy to listen to.
Jay, there have been few artists that are incredible in all the instruments they play, drums, synthesizers, bass, guitar, piano, etc.
The percussion is the backbone of this song, it sounds so crisp my goodness
These dudes are absolutely legendary.

When you are having crippling self doubts about if you can finish up grad school and you feel the fright of your thesis coming to a halt, this song brings a little comfort. Breathe a little deeper, should you need to come undone
. Let those colors run.
My favorite song of the album 👌
[Verse 1]
If you think I couldn't hold my own, believe me, I can
Believe me, I can, believe me, I can
If it ain't so awful and we're all together, I can
Believe me, I can, believe me, I can
If you think I couldn't roll with you, believe me, I can
Believe me, I can, believe me, I can
If ideally we should feel like this forever, I can
Believe me, I can, believe me, I can
[Chorus]
(And she said) Seems you're coming on
Breathe a little deeper
Should you need to come undone
And let those colours run
(And she said) Now you're having fun
So do this and get through this
And come find me when you're done
So we can be as one
[Verse 2]
If you think I couldn't hold my own, believe me, I can
Believe me, I can, believe me, I can
If you need someone to tell you that you're special, I can
Believe me, I can, believe me, I can
If you need someone to carry on, believe me, I can
Believe me, I can, believe me, I can
If you think no one is feeling what you're feeling, I am
Believe me, I am, believe me, I am
[Bridge]
And the groove is low
[Chorus]
(And she said) Seems you're coming on
Breathe a little deeper
Should you need to come undone
And let those colours run
Now you're having fun
So do this and get through this (And the groove is low)
And come find me when you're done
So we can be as one
[Refrain]
Telamona
Telamona, oh
And the groove is low
Telamona
And the groove is low
[Chorus]
Seems you're coming on
Breathe a little deeper
Should you need to come undone (Telamona)
And let those colours run
Now you're having fun (Telamona)
Do this and get through this
And until we see the sun (And the groove is low)
You're my number one
Absolutely incredible. Plain and simple
This is so beautiful! The perfect soundtrack for driving through beautiful landscapes with someone you love.
I am so in love with Tame Impala. I mean, this guy can do no wrong. All his albums are brilliant, Pond is brilliant too, if you haven't listened to his old band, you should.
