Antwerpen station is a real mix of historical and modern architecture the cathedral like building on too and the modern station and through tracks beneath aswell with the shopping centre link and metro station I give credit to the orginal designers and the modern designers of the station great job 😊
When you took the train to Roosendaal, didn't you noticed that pink small road next to the railroad? That's a bicycle path, or a so called 'fietsostrade' some sort highway for bicycles. Not always noticeble because some times cyclist have to cross the railroad to the other side, that starts from Essen and ends in Antwerp.
ya S32 and not always on such old trains it can be the new MS08's. even some single deck or double deck cars but those ones are all the IC's that go to Brussels and Charleroi and don't go to Roosendaal but stop in Essen
3-4 years ago most L trains became S trains. On time of filming this video it was indeed already S32. MR08 (Desiro ML) for Essen - Puurs and MR75 for Roosendaal - Puurs. TOgether running every 30 minutes on weekdays. Only Roosendaals has a one hour service. (Station Kijkuit was upgraded to 30 minutes service in december 2021)
i loved Antwerp even though my first experience didn't go quiet well, i gave Antwerp a second chance and it was amazing
Antwerp Central is one my favourite stations. Hope to visit it soon.

If i remember this correctly this train in not a L-trein but a S-trein. The S32 trein from Roosendaal to Puurs.
