For the people asking if lighting really makes that much change:
It does change ALOT of how a scene looks but this reel has the simulation step missing which goes inbetween lighting and rendering, the step that is labeled here as lighting is actually incorrect: it should be 'final render' or something of thaat sort because the a during tests there are details hidden so playbacks can happen. in a render it actually uses those details.
The way snow white exits the scene, runing like she ran from the forest in the original movie. That's amazing!

I never noticed the quick look between Pocahontas and Mulan at 1:51 and Pocahontas' quick nod they're like "Game time baby!" I love the little details they put into each princess in this film. I hope they make a series starring all of them hanging out one day.
I don't know... Lighting do make it glow, but the scary thing is how these animation models can be so lifelike with so much minute details in body movement and twitches in facial expression. I'm having headache doing simple 3D animation like running, jumping, and other basic things, but what these ppl are doing are top notch

No it’s impossible. I myself am just starting to get into animation and as a noob I know for a fact they skipped cloth rigging, texturing, and a lot more I don’t care to list right now

I always pay attention to the animation and think how much work it takes

Her hair is harder to animate and was left out from the simpler models
maybe flynn rider cut her whole hair lol
Even mulan, Pocahontas Tiana and Ariel are bald
Merida mulan rapunzel pocahontas tiana and ariel are bald for some reason i think the movie is still in progress on that time and hardware of the thing they used is not big bc they even have to recreat the disney princess to be small instead of using own disney princess movie model i dont rlly know just my theory or feel bc animating is harder than u just expecting to be.

Ralph Breaks The Internet may not have been a great movie but the animators clearly put a ton of work into the animation.

2D Pass- Way how to animate the person after the reference is acted.
Blocking- Made Mr. knows more drop a bookshelf piece a little further for more view of the background.
Refine- Made Vanellope iris move towards Mr. knowsmore for better view of weapon. Added gate on the front library.
Lighting- Shadows added. Notes and polishing were added.

In the movie tangled rapunzels hair was black and it's been cut but now in this movie rapunzels hair was normal

Yeah and also Aurora's shirt looks like it doesn't fit either
Its actually fit its just how the 3d animating system they using are glitching out if they light it it looks normal but in progress they all actually glitching.
I wish we could have seen more of Fix-It Felix and Calhoun taking care of the Sugar Rush kids. Heck maybe Disney should consider making a spin off movie about that, that takes place around the same time as the movie kinda like the last 4 episodes of Star Wars: The Clone Wars taking place around the same time as Revenge of the Sith.

Why does Merida look more like Merida when she's unrendered?
Merida look like elsa but chubby plus they didnt actually take there model in the movie they recreat it all i taught they use the same baby moana but the hair of baby moana is not the same it is strange why they didnt use there model through there movies it looks like there big clickbait through there own movie.
