    Great pro tip. I love carnations and they are my go to flower. I’m actually conditioning some now for my Saturday design day. Thank you! 🌹

    Looks awesome! How would you transfer these so that they don’t get tangled?

    • @FlowerSchool
      @FlowerSchool  2 роки тому

      That's an excellent question, Michelle! It would be ideal if you could suspend them when transporting them to keep them from tangling. Otherwise you might need to lay them flat in a back and forth pattern so they will be ready to unload on-site. Thanks so much for stopping by to watch our show, and share in this terrific Tulip Tuesday Tip. We appreciate your lovely presence here and look forward to seeing you again soon!

    Thank you for this video. How would you attach it to an elevated arrangement?

    • @FlowerSchool
      @FlowerSchool  6 місяців тому +1

      That's an excellent question, KC, and we hope we are addressing it correctly for you! Since the carnations are on fishing line, you can attach the line to a hook or possibly a zip tie at the top (we're assuming you are talking about an arch or some other piece). The flowers would hang down beautifully and the fishing line would be mostly invisible. Thank you for taking the time to watch this helpful Tulip Tuesday Tip. One thing you can do if you have a very specific design question for the Tulip Team is to e-mail rose@floraldesigninstitute.com. While our team is very busy, they will respond if they can help. Wishing you all the best and hope flowers fill your life in abundant ways!

    I was taught that dental floss is quite good to use as well.

      That's a great idea, Fleur, and it's another way you can go! Dental floss is strong and will hold the flowers well. The reason we like fishing wire is that it is clear so it is largely invisible and you don't really see it all when the flowers are hanging. Thank you for taking the time to see our this useful Tulip Tuesday Tip. We are so glad you stopped by and hope that you will visit us again soon. Sending you best wishes and please have a marvelous week!

    How long would these last?

    • @FlowerSchool
      @FlowerSchool  Місяць тому

      That's an excellent question, Shayne! Usually these garlands are created for events so they aren't intended to be long lasting; however, carnations themselves are generally long lasting flowers if they have been hydrated properly so the garlands should last for a couple of days. We always suggest you do a trial run with anything new to see how it works for you before you need it for an event. Thank you for stopping by to watch our Tulip Tuesday Tip and we hope you will visit us again soon. Sending you best wishes and hope you have a wonderful week!
