Me too😂 What you trying to do? I’m trying to make a portable water to air intercooler water tank chiller. I already paid $20 for a newish customer return deep freezer , fixed it for free (lol) and now have a 7.0 cubic foot one… but I’m looking at these ice makers now… I’m not trying to mess with my cars ac for an interchiller
Thanks, was curious if they used a peltier module or an actual compresor. I'm looking into making a solar floating cooler for kayak camping trips and got the idea to look at portable ice maker see if it could be adapted and at first glance it looks promising ! Peltier is small and light weight but sucks big time at power efficiency.
Unfortunately you fast forwarded the part that I was most interested in which was removing the top cover piece. I don't want to break it off. I don't know if it snaps on or if it's screwed on
Hi there, thanks for posting this video, I’ve just stripped my ice machine down because the physical connection to the tray had snapped on the motor side, on further investigation the motor doesn’t stop turning when one of the limit switch is pressed, however the switch switches electrically (continuity tested) so I think it maybe the relay has failed, therefore.. new snapped tray & new PCB. Does this sound right?
you have a synchronous motor, not a stepper motor. the water pump is 12v. the two "things" ( black and white things, are NOT temperature regulating ) you could not identify are water level sensors. a ULN2003 water level sensor schematic foogle search can show how them works. I am looking for how that magnetic valve selenoid on the 'Freon?' line works and how it is useful. before I go about the difficult way of figuring it out. get a blow torch and warm' i mean warm up the solder side of them circuits and you can take them parts off the printed circuit boards.
Sure would have liked to have seen the compressor
I needed to know if an old ice maker had what I need for my project and this helped a lot! Thanks!
Glad I could help!

@@SciTyeTechyour black connection you didn’t know what it was, with the roundish back? I believe was your start relay

Thought you might at least attempt to fault find to see why it wasn't working
Nice video but it will be better if the volume is higher
You really had to pay attention to hear it

Bro i like how you go about things , and your really reminding me of me ! Lol i will be subscribed now and watching for what you create
Thank you! I appreciate that! I am glad you enjoy my content!
Very cool
Thanks!
It wasn't working because the sensors that says if it is completely full of ice corroded and is telling itself it is full of ice when it is not.
The motor on yours is easily removable, mine is blocked by the lid, which I can't figure out how to remove. Yet.

May i ask wth is foogle .
Do you sell parts
Where's the beeper? You didn't point out the beeper! I hate those things
I didn't find a beeper.
@@SciTyeTech If it beeped when working there must one hiding in there. They are shapeshifters and can imitate other components.
how many peltier chip inside ??
It's compressor bases thankfully
The white one is temp sensor for compressor the black one is starting capacitor
Thanks for letting me know!
Make a good cpu chiller
lol! That would work well!
Start capacitor
mostly inaudible
Really
If anybody's got a hose from the pump up to the top reservoir let me know I'll buy it mine leaks they ruined my fans thanks
Not for me... Sound quality sux as does the dismantling skillz... 2024- 15K views & 49 👍🏻 I'm not wrong.
And your spelling skills “sux”
