A few questions that were a surprise for me are:
1. Why shouldn't we hire you?
2. What if you don't get selected into Deloitte today?
3. Two adjectives that are opposite to your personality with examples.
Apart from that, technical round mostly revolved around questions that are already covered in this video and just a run through of 11 & 12 accountancy is required.

7. What is FIFO and LIFO
8. Tell me about your projects ( you need to mainly mention if you were able to learn any technical skill relevant to the job if any )

@TheAptitudeGuy all basic questions related to accountancy like depreciation, working capital, some projects I have worked on , summer internship, hobbies , strength and weakness. Basically we need to be confident while giving the interview

@kumarrishikesh2240 in my case HR round was basic question related to me and my experiences, but in my fellow mates case some Hr interviewer did ask question related to finance, my technical round was complete technical base , I was being asked about accounting and finance and Final round was about my hobbies , internship related questions, projects.

@@TheAptitudeGuy In hr round it was all about basics like introduction, then short term goals, long term goals , the main concern to get into Deloitte, last question was do you have any questions for us..?this question was common in all three round
2. Technical round:
We were asked about basic accounting questions like journal entries, ledger, balance sheet, cash flow , and one question was related to my internship and since our profile was US tax profile we were deeply asked about the Indian taxes as well US taxes like the slab rates n all that stuff.
3.Final round:
Final round was mixture of HR round as well the technical round after that in final round mostly they asked me a situational based question like what would you do in this situation n all....final round was not that difficult but the technical round was bit difficult compartively

So the questions that were asked in HR round -were the basic ones like Walk me through your resume and then Why Deloitte..but to my surprise the HR started testing my Accounting knowledge too with basics questions regarding journal entries
In the Technical round I was asked about.. Difference between provision and reserves..How to improve Working capital..Then about Commercial paper and one or two situation based questions (I used the keywords that were mentioned by you)
Final round was just the general interaction..

1) Cocubes Test
questions mostly relate to blood relations, number series, patterns, coding etc. Coming to financial accounting it covers the basic 11th & 12th commerce syllabus and finally excel consists of formulae, shortcut and macros
2) Interview
HR Round - Basic questions related to our resume & family background
Technical Round - Covers all 11th & 12th commerce subjects
Final Round - kind of a stress level interview. Consist Scenario based questions related to the workplace..

@@burraprashanth6023 yeah ofcourse firstly it will be a HR interview where questions like tell me about yourself, why Deloitte, my previous job is in sales so why you want to come to finance from sales, previous ctc, location, family. one more thing it depend on HR what they ask as my friend also had a interview that time and the HR asked her some basic accounts questions and most important be confident. and at the end please ask questions to them when they ask anything you want to ask.
second one will be technical round question are mostly the question on the above video and they just ask basic terms like what is LIFO and FIFO, what is trial balance and balance sheet, have you ever worked on excel, most question are on basic terms.
final round will be director or senior manager round this is the combination of all the round in this they can ask anything it depends on your luck hahaha from me he asked do you know anyone from deloitte?, i said yes so he asked do you know the timings or shifts? then he asked about previous experience, again why from sales to finance, why deloitte, some journal entries like rent, prepaid insurance, discounts, bad debts.
most important just be confident don't panic i have seen people got selected even they are not able to answer the question in interview but they are confident in what they say.

After the aptitude round There was an HR round.. I was asked basic questions about introduction, family background, salary expectations.. It was a general conversation..
Then there was a technical round.. The interviewer was so good and made me feel comfortable as well... He asked me questions like
1. 5 heads of income
2. What is current asset
3. What is fixed asset
4. When is Income tax Act
5. President of UK
6. Same situation based questions mentioned by you.
One-on-one
1. Everything mentioned in Resume
2. Scenario based questions similar to the one's which you have mentioned above.. Like what you will do if u have to work overtime, what if given 5 projects at the same time and which will you prefer smart or hard work if the outcome of a given work is same.

@@TheAptitudeGuy Sorry sir, I am unable to recall the questions as account section had practicals as well.. Whatever theoretical MCQ they had everything based on rules, principles, reconciliation, concepts and few more foundation topics of accounts which we use to study in our Preuniversity.
Excel was really difficult as it was advanced.. Some functions, formulas, lookups etc.. But not to worry if one clears at least logical reasoning plus the versant test deloitte encourages to give retest for the excel and account section if one is not able to clear it in the first go.

Hi Ashutosh. They generally send the official mail to the placement director 2 days after the selection process. You'll get the offer letter after 2-3 months with the joining date mentioned. Don't worry. :)

@@ashutoshdubey2726 The congratulatory mail is the mail received by the Placement Director, with the names of the selected candidates. You won't receive a separate mail for that.

They are trained on US Taxation after they join the company. They don't expect Indian students, that too freshers, to know about the taxation of another country. And these are real questions that have been asked to the students. They are not out of my imagination. Hope this answers your query.

@@adg5391 The technical round and final round involves everything you have studied about accountancy, finance, taxation and related subjects right from your 11th standard to your post graduation. It's not a cake walk. So, it's 7 years of studying commerce and after joining, it's a continuous process of learning and applying the knowledge while working.

@@adg5391 I am pursuing CA myself. I do understand the difference in the efforts needed to clear a professional course and an MBA. But that gives us no right to say that people working in Deloitte as Tax consultants are not well deserving of the packages they are being offered. They have the soft skills required to be there, they are getting paid for their personality, their leadership skills, their professionalism and their confidence. So, don't belittle them, we are no one to say that they don't deserve such high packages cause they honestly do.
