Today we are talking about episode 6 of acolyte and the Unknown planet where Qimir lives. Is it the Legends planet Bal'demnic where Tenebrous and Plagueis mined Cortosis? Is this Star Wars legends planet and Sith Lords coming into canon finally?

I think Vernestra is definitely Qimir's old jedi master. He said he was thrown out and showes Osha the scar on his back. That scar is definitely not from a normal lightsaber wound. It looks more like whip, like a lightwhip. It's even possible that she may be evil, as that would explain why actors said how the sith infiltrated the jedi. Not to mention she is very adamant that the council shouldnt know about anything going on, and was very determined to go on this mission and for Sol to stay on Khofar.
Just a theory. Hopefully it's true. It doesnt really have anything to do with the video but i just wanted to share it.

@@starwarssith66 force lightning presumably would leave multiple point burn marks, and if you rewatch the scene when Palpatine force lightning Luke and Vader it covered their entire body. Qimir’s scar looks like one continuous connection. So not buying force lightning.
That's so wild if true!! That planet we see in The Acolyte was part of the recordings they did here on Madeira in Portugal! I've heard how they loved recording here cause that place had the potential to be so many different places in such close range from one another, from what I know they got to use Madeira for 4 planets in the show! Just some fun facts heh 😛

I've heard this theory quite a bit over the last few weeks, but I didn't realise there were this many connections. To be honest, I think it would be cool if Qimir were either Tenebrous or Venamis, or at least in some way connected to them. It would certainly be a nice nod to one of (if not THE) best legends novels, but in my opinion it wouldn 't redeem the show for me. If nothing else it would feel like a cool fan film which decided to adapt some legends material for their plot but does little more to benefit or enhance the overall story of the saga in any meaningful way. But that's just my opinion...

I honestly wish they went further back cause if there is no ties in to them its more of a disappointment to everyone who knows that tenebrous is the truth sith master this time period running around.
If they make qimir venamis i wouldn't be mad. Id love for this to lead into a plaguies and palpatine show or movie

If tenebrous or Plageuis is introduced we could most likely expect a tales of the sith which is probably why they waited this long to make one, we know Star Wars loves created these short stories for people with less story like Morgan and Bariss and dooku, they probably waited for the acolyte to drop for them to release a Tales of the Sith with most likely Qimir and Tenebrous stories or Plageuis, this is a crazy theory but the pattern just makes sense and good marketing😂most likely coming early or so 2025

I didn’t realize that wall in Qimir’s cave was Cortosis until I watched Star Wars Explained video on it. And now I agree it is Baldemnic.
The creatures by the rocks to me looked like some sort of Rakatan off spring. Like they looked similar head shape wise

Pretty sure like 99% sure Qimir/Stranger is in fact Plagueis. What I expect to happen is that the final battle happens on Bal'Demnic And that'll be Qimir (Plagueis) vs Tenebrous. And Osha vs Sol.
Tenebrous shows up, displeased with his actions on Khofar, and flat out calls him out as Plagueis screaming it in a rage, Then they begin fighting, he might interrupt Plagueis fighting Sol.
So Plagueis and Tenebrous fight, Plagueis beats him...and Osha kills Sol.
Osha gets united with Mae, both under the banner of evil and under Plagueis, show ends.
And it we EVER get a season 2. MAYBE it'll be Qimir running into a young Palpatine...assuming Disney would ever do that.

@@starwarssith66 I don't have a problem with it personally, Plagueis is an important character. And I'd rather see him portrayed by a solid actor, and Manny has been amazing playing the part so. I'd trust him with it. Personally, I was never really a fan of how Luceno potrayed Plagueis in the book, he came off as a different person than how Sidious described him in ROTS.
In the book, Plagueis was cold, calculating, rational, scientific, emotionally, distant. and not much of a charmer. Qimir, has come off more like how Sidious described him in ROTS. He even saved Osha from dying in the aftermath of the Khofar battle, by healing her wounds "He had such a knowledge of the dark side that he could even keep the ones he cared about from dying." And lets be honest, he's smitten with Osha, and was Mae too. Osha would have died likely had he not saved her.
I'm not saying you have to like it, I would just keep an open mind to the idea. Plagueis NEEDS a good actor and Manny is perfect for it imo. And I don't really see them casting him for a minor role like Tenebrous. And I think they are sitting on the reveal, until the last episode.
But we will see what happens. I just know that, if we get through this season, and he turns out to be nobody, that we know. Then Disney epically failed in the casting department.

According to the known Darth Bane’s Sith Line of Succession during the High Republic this is how it goes:
Unnamed Twilek Sith Lord > Tenebrous > Plagueis > Sidious > Vader
Darth Tenebrous was a Bith (Legends), similar to the flute-playing alien in Tatooine
Darth Plagueis was a Muun (this is canon), whose species famously runs the Galaxy’s Banking Clan that sided with the Separatists
Palpatine or Darth Sidious, was a human from Naboo
Qimir or whatever Darth name he assumes, if the series follows Legends and made it Canon, would have predated Tenebrous by at least one or two apprentice successions up to the unnamed Twilek Master of Tenebrous, if Qimir is already a Sith Lord Master at this time by killing his former Master and looking for an apprentice (Mae)
@@Shinyboy29 The Twi'lek Sith Lord you are referring to is Darth Ramage in Legends. He was in The Legends continuity Tenebrous's Sith Master.
Plagueis being a Muun is not canon, thats legends. You are probably thinking of the Endless Vigil sourcebook, which contains both canon and legends material. If you are saying it's canon because thats your recollection, I hate to say it, but, you're wrong, trust me on that. I've been debating this topic for weeks since the Acolyte dropped with various people. And if it was canon that he is a Muun, I'd know about it, it's legends, and Disney has gone to great lengths to make sure it stays that way.
Also in Legends you forgot Darth Vectivus. He also became a Banite Sith but is not up to this point canon either, he is also Legends.
As for the timeline discrepencies. We already know, how willing the Storyboard is with playing fast and loose with the timeline. They did it with Mundi with his legends age.
And for somebody like Plagueis, (Qimir) whom they seem to be writing up as ageless, playing with the timeline is a minor issue.
Also as an a point of observation. I've noticed that they have already prepared Tenebrous wookiepedia character page with a canon tab. Tenebrous is canon now. Which could be in preparation for a finale that they are expecting to be a mess with the fans.
I mean, it could turn out that the finale drops, and Qimir turns out to be nobody, which would make everybody happy, that hates this show and hates the character. Especially if they don't have the courage to name drop him.
But from the way its looking from everything thats happened so far, and the signals they've sent. He's Darth Plageuis the wise. And they've bookended his live action debut, drinking and sleeping, much like he died in Legends with Sidious, frying him.

Well any star wars books, games, except the movies prior to 2014 were declared non canon so Plagueis appearance and species may change but I highly doubt it’s this Qmir guy
