Lukaku is a physical beast, so strong. Sometimes 2 defenders hanging on his shirt and he still keeps running. I would not like to defend him.

@@grateful1310 I find Mount plays better as a CAM rather than as part of a wing. I'd opt for a back 4 if possible, then put Mount / Havertz as CAM with Werner, Lukaku, Ziyech/Pulisic. Remember squad depth

After watching this video I have no doubt that he is the perfect striker for Chelsea. Would of wished we had gotten halland but can’t do anything if Dortmund didn’t want to sell this transfer window. So happy we finally got a striker that will finish our chances.

Thanks Noman for the analysis. Lukaku is a complete package. He has everything we need. He has developed every aspect that makes a clinical striker.
Haaland is okay, but he is still developing. He is not who we need atm. Perhaps next year, Chelsea may still sign him.
I'm glad we got Lukaku. He is going to bully premiership defenders like Drogba and Costa. He fits the mode of a typical Chelsea striker. Chelsea strikers are known for physicality, playing with back to goal, aerial strength, play as a target man, effectiveness on counter attack and shoot power and accuracy. Such as Hasselbank, Drogba, and Costa.
In my opinion, technically gifted strikers don't do well at Chelsea e.g. Torres and Morata.
@Clarence Amadeus remember that when 2/3 people press him, space is created and he's capable of playing quick one touch passes across to the wingers...

Why is everyone talking about Kai and Timo and leaving out
the most deadly and direct player at Chelsea in Pulisic?
After all those injuries, Pulisic hasn't been the same anymore. He has lost his edge. It'll take time for him to get back to were he was a year ago.
The issue i have with Lukaku when the game is on the line he never seem to deliver. Inter Milan against Barcelona in the champion league at home several chances and against Italy he get a clear cut chances so if he can improve on those pressure game on deliver he will be one of the great striker. I love Lukaku power and strength i wish him all the best.

Great video. Though you didn't speak about mentality. Lukaku can be a leader figure but he can also be harsh on his team mates. When he feels a teammate should have passed to him or crossed poorly, Lukaku will let them know on the pitch. I hope Chelsea players can deal with it when he shows frustration in teammates: he means well it's positive criticism and meant to improve the whole team.
Everything presented in this clip is excellent about Lukaku; the guy has peaked and hopefully maintains that peakness. My concern is only about his age.
