Appreciate this one... Heater coil is bad, but I am replacing the whole assembly... May as well, since the whole thing is apart. The kit is just over $50.00
i have this model, this video was a saving grace!!!!!!!!!!!! very easy to follow, i was able to disassemble and replace my heating element and put it back together, you saved my dryer and my pocket!!! thank you sir!
Hi Greg, going to be attempting this repair soon. Same model. 1) Do you recommend replacing the 2 fuses even if they check out if it's the heating element? 2) Is there no way to get the heater assembly out WITHOUT taking the drum out? Seems like there are just 2 screws and the wire connections. Thanks for the great video!
Thanks for watching John Merdler, I guess you could it wouldn't hurt to change them, but the taking out of the drum isn't needed to take the heater out but to put the heater back in it is very hard to do with the drum still in place.
Thanks for watching themillerfamily, in most cases a heating problem on a samsung dryer is the thermal fuse or the heater. If it is heating but just shutting off early it's a venting issue.
It’s not even heating up it’s not even staying on for only three minutes and turn it off. I change the moisture sensors and everything. How do I check the the part where you said that I probably need to be fixed how can I check that?
Thank you for the video! This helped me fix my dryer!
Awesome, I'm glad I could help
consider adding a tag for "electric dryer", since gas dryers are a different animal
Thanks for this video. It was a great guide on how to fix my dryer.
Thanks for watching jamesray, thanks for the great feedback.

Thanks for watching ldcmanagementgroupsllc, I usually always change the whole thing because it's actually cheaper here.
Thank you, I did it and it’s heating good. Thank you so much….

Holy I have to do this tomorrow 😢
Hey trying to install myself do you have video on how to install the belt?
I've tried to video that and it's such a cramped spot, the video always turned out terrible. Thanks for watching AnaJimenez.
Greg I found a spring laying in bottom of dryer can you tell me what it goes to? Maybe the belt?
There is a spring on the idler pulley, which the belt goes around the idler pulley.
It is my element is there a part number or do i use the model #?
Thanks for watching, you use your part number to look up the part. If you can't find it let me know the model number and I'll look it up.
