Im in the hospital writing this comment. I woke up today hours early, I dont know what time. I nearly vomited about 5 times today. It was so severe that I had to take an ultrasound. Before I took it, I prayed to God that it would be nothing serious, asking him to touch me. Then, when I got the result, it said that there was nothing wrong - in fact, it was normal. It felt serious, but it was actually just a regular case. I also was supposed to have a test tomorrow, but I get to stay home so I can study more as well. Thank God!
Update: a day in, and I'm feeling much more better than before, but still need more recovery

@@rebeccasmith7439 When it says forgive us our debts, it is poetically agreeing with other phrases such as, "the wages of sin is death," and "Jesus paid the price." This language is used so that the audience can relate and understand more easily. Please keep such opinions respectful.

If you don't find the Words to say, you can ask the Holy Spirit, or think about what you wanna talk with God about and think about the process and ask to God of that process, I hope you get it
Be genuine, prayer is one on one time, don’t ramble, be intentional about words we say, no empty phrase, be lowly, submit ourselves to god, he’s above us, his will is stronger, we are below and servants, rely on god
When you tell the lord how you feel most of the time tried to tell him how you feel but like knowing and trusting that he can help you❤not just crying and complaining all the time

Thank you for explaining the lord's prayer so clearly. I never realized it was a prayer format, and not necessarily a prayer in and of itself.
Here are two methods you can use to pray: 1. Be thankful and ask
2. Praise God, Confess any sin you have to confess, ask something, be grateful to God❤ask me any questions
Do you pray in repetition? I’ve been wanting to pray longer but not sure how without repeating how grateful I am

4:53 - An important distinction: shame and guilt are NOT the same thing. Guilt is what you feel when you've DONE something wrong; shame is a feeling that YOU are what's wrong, your identity and being. It's not possible to ask forgiveness for failing to be what someone else other than God says we are. Do not confuse your "who" with your "do"! Make sense?

Do we have to do the sign of the cross when we pray? Everyone else in my class does it and I'm confused.

You can do it in any position that is comfortable for you, but kneeling is good too.
