I truly appreciate this video. I have been the unfortunate recipient of treatment in that regard. My sister and I have and it was not very pleasant at all, but it was not in New York City. It was in a small Texas town, but I have long sense attempted to change such activity, but thank you so much for presenting this in the in the very nice lot that it was present
I love this. It's a fact about human kindness and behavior. It's just so sad that even the communities of church goers and such do not have structure in behavior to come naturally. Just like this.
My mother had many of these experiences. She dressed plainly, was white, & had more in the bank than most of the other shoppers. It’s not always racism. It’s socioeconomic assumptions.
I wish a lot of people could see this video to see how much different people is discriminated against simply because of how they look how they dress how they talk You can't hardly go into a store from somebody watching you or following you around and it is pathetic but I enjoy your You can't hardly go into a store from somebody watching you or following you around and it is pathetic but I enjoy your video keep up the good work
What a story...I enjoyed from the start till it concluded... My take on the narrative is what Marcus did was the right decision...ever. Rationale....the ethics of a life lived with a rational meaning and purpose to propound propositions for the greater good rather than for persona gain... I applaud Marcus fir the decision he made....
I have been judged so many times that frankly I’m numb to it. What I dislike is someone belittling how I feel or telling me how I am suppose to feel and not look at it this or that way. To tell you the truth if you are not like me, then you would never fully understand my pain. Ok!
I've frequented the Gucci store in San Francisco and in San Jose WITH work clothes and no haircut on PURPOSE. I was received very well by the ladies at both stores each time I went. I joked about not having champagne, and they offered me a glass.
The customer is always right and you treat the customer with respect but if you get sometimes you get bad customers you have to be willing to come down on them sometimes
It's not easy to respond to criticism and sometimes you're right about you but sometimes it's just can be prejudiced or the way you look or reacting to the way you are too
I've had customers authoritative demand that I show them more respect than the other customers and act like because they spend money in there that I should treat them the best
And when they threatened to get my boss I told him that every customer gets treated the same whether you're a big company or a regular customer coming in
I know a manager who an old man complained about is paint and brought it back and he kicked the manager in the knee and the manager abruptly called the police and had him removed
Why !! White people threatening black people badly it same place you were living ,not like in the Philippinise treated people fair and with Hospitality listening from Aklan Phil,,🥰🙏❤️❤️🇵🇭
If this owner wanted everybody to go inside to touch and casually pick up expensive watches,he should have told to the salesman, i don' see any racism.
It truly was racism, not based necessarily on the skin color but the appearance of the customer and not making them feel welcome. He might’ve had $10,000 in his pocket and that store employee never even stopped to consider that.
Nothing but racism tho with words like our clients we can't have just anyone touching stuff no he meant we can't have black people touching stuff or being in here
This gotta be a white racist person saying some dumb shit like this knowing this happens all the time how you gne determine who can touch something they want to buy and who can’t
Oh go float somewhere with your stereotypical lies. The mass majority of the time they tell that lie to deter observers from recognizing what it is, race ism.
I thought Richard ‘s actions were appropriate,as a black man I wasn’t offended or outraged he was polite and engaging, if I were the owner of that high end shop I would have given Richard a raise and promotion, folks are way to sensitive if they think Dick was out of line 😮

It was an everyday thing in my days

Typical wp. And they're the biggest thieves that ever walked on all fours🤷

You never know who your dealing with. That's why you should treat everyone with respect, and kindness.
Beautiful story. I want to shop at a store like that.

Treat others as you want to be treated, old lesson of life 😂🎉😮😢
Great story 👏 I love the ending ❤
It's sad that we are judged by the color of our skin or how we look!
Lessons in life we all should
know.

Wish there was a live video.
Walmart I used to work for they've got away from that they're just about stocking the shelves more and let the customers help themselves
It's not easy to respond to criticism and sometimes you're right about you but sometimes it's just can be prejudiced or the way you look or reacting to the way you are too
This should be on Undercover BOSS! ❤

GEEN BLANKE MENSEN, MAAR WITTE MENSEN. FROM THE NEDERLAND.
It does happen to WHITE MEN & WOMEN, TOO!!
Philipinos in the US are r@ cist against blacks also. Especially in the hospitals.
😂
Change the photo! Story teller!
This is NOT a video!!
"Johning his arrival"???
Because this has never happen to you, you'll never understand. It happens a lot. To myself and others I have witness.
@@gloriajones4269 I don't know if I have experienced this if I don't know what it is.
Is this fiction or non
I'm sure it's factional. It's often a black person's experience. Sad, but true.
🤣👎👎

Ignorant racist people don't think they're racist I'm sure Richard is one that would say he have black friends

Troll, you aren't black.
Don’t believe it!
There are quite a few issues here, particularly in today's market.
This is a nice story, but is not totally aligned with reality.
Where have you been? This encounter is an every day reality for black people in English speaking and other predominantly non-black countries.
