I recommend using a slurry mix but pour it along the joints using a container with a suitable spout then push in and smooth off with trowel. You get better the best of both worlds. All the best bud
I used Nexus ProJoint on our Porcelain patio. Ive not been that impressed with it. After the 2nd winter some of the top 1mm or so of the grout started peeling away in several places. I noticed it more after doing my annual jet washing. Year 3 and even more came out and im going to have to regrout that section to avoid the risk of water getting down in there through the next winter. Aside from this issue with the grout all solid, no knocking or hollow parts under the slabs, just wish id gone for a differwnt grout now.
johney boy have you tried using a marshall town grout bag, similar to big cake icing tool?? just grouted my 40m2 patio on my own and it was a piece of cake 😂
I found one at screwfix marshall town £10.99 I think and it made it much easier all without being on my knees. legs are bit tight but yeah I found it really good. full joints and hardly any on the tiles, so minimal waste.
