I can't tell you how many times, over the years, we sounded just like you. "Please be careful", "that's really high", "just leave it", "want me to hold the ladder?", "don't you fall!" We did our fair share but not to the extent of building a barn or doing our own sheetrock. I've seen far too many old colonial homes 're-muddled', so I love what you are doing. It's looking great! (good decision to cover the pink considering the green you are using, which looks fabulous by the way, especially with the floor, stairs, and banister)
My goodness I have to say, I absolutely love this better,it lends itself historically, and the black stair case and banister really pops more for some reason. You both work very hard it shows and id say even though unexpected it paid This is such a treat for me to watch your restoration I love primitive and colonial style and this makes me smile that your love and respect for this old beautiful home and land and not modernizing it.God bless you both for being keeper's of our past.Btw your corgi pack are beautiful.🕊️💚
@@reddog40 thank you for the wonderful comment and yes we are doing our best to put it back to how it would have looked I love old houses and thanks for the corgi compliment they are the best! 💕💕💕
I love the green! Re-painting the soft pink to white looks lovely with the green. The soft pink is beautiful, but it just didn't work with the green. Very smart decision. Will you leave the living room the soft pink? When the wall is back up, I think it will be great. Good job!! Take care. ❤
Oh very beautiful yes the white walls with green very beautiful
It is gorgeous! The house is adorable. I envy you the morning light through those beautiful windows!
