Your place is amazing. We live in Wisconsin. I grew up in Connecticut. And spent many years going to Maine. Spending summers with family. We are in the mists of painting our kitchen cabinets. We bought an 120’s farm house. 8 years ago. I call it my Grandma house. Since I am a great grandma. I have to keep busy. I a total knee replacement 😊surgery 4 months ago. And my husband had open Heart surgery before that. So our projects had to be put on hold. We are in great shape. For 81 we will not complain. Just Thank God. That we are in the shape we are in . Love all your animals especially Walter.❤
Love your Utube channel. So peaceful and the farm and all the animals. I’m a country girl a wish my life had taken a simular route. So excited for you as you hunt for a new home. Lots of work ahead but fun doing it together. I will continue to watch with excitement for you all.
'Good tired'! The kind I relish when fall is in the air and I've been outside, in the fresh air, working for hours. I'll be feeling that 'good tired' soon as we begin our 'getting ready for winter chores' next month. (enjoying this brief lull though) Alec looks like he has some Gypsy Vanner/Gypsy Cob breed in him with that feather and mustache! He's adorable!
Thank you for the wonderful tour of your property. I am like you, as I to love living in the forest. The work you have done is outstanding and it is so nice that you are retaining the historical beauty of the house and property. I agree that your beautiful home came straight out of a story book. Right now my project is dehydrating all the various produce from our garden. My husband set me up a summer kitchen to keep the strong veggies like garlic and onions out of the house. I dehydrate so much and even some groceries we can't eat fast enough. I make my own raisins from grapes and my own cup of soup with my dehydrated veggies with chicken or beef broth. I just did a batch of tomatoes and basil for my rustic bread. It is delicious. Saves a lot of money. You never waste food when you dehydrate. With all your herbs and fruit bushes/trees you have your own grocery store. You just have to step outside. Do you make your own maple syrup? I just love your videos. Thank you for sharing. You are wonderful people doing so much for those rescue animals. You both have huge hearts full of love for your furry family members. GOD BLESS YOU!
Hi Jenny, I love your kitchen! I wish I had one like yours! So much character … I agree, creativity, vision, like painting a canvas … thank you for sharing your home and what you have accomplished so far.
