Chip alluded to this several times in the past few months. Looks like this is the second part of a triad of devices for training. I doubt there will ever be a Wahoo SWM though (Artificial lake swimmer).
DC Rainmaker has a great video actually running on this. This thing is a beast.
Intrigued as well! Probably won't be able to justify the cost though, it's much easier to run at all times of the year than to bike!
Double check the DCR review, he does go into a few of these unknowns, like the price target of $5k. He has a pre-production unit on test
The $5k figure is interesting and around what I see it going for. It will be interesting to see if that changes as we get closer to the summer and wahoo irons down all the little details before making it available to order.

I'd guess it should be around $4k, but I bet Wahoo stick an early adopter premium on it and launch at like $6k
I was wondering if the treadmill would have a (hard to find) manual interval option. This is super important to runners for increasing racing speed but is not included in most offerings….it would be great if it did have it on the 1st generation….👍👍👍
@@golferjoe16 it would be great to be able to find a treadmill that you can input your walk and run speed and toggle in-between them both based on your workout. It is surprising how hard it is to find a treadmill that does that.....Life Fitness is one of the few out there..
@@egovorch Well, you really don't need the treadmill to have any built in programs. If you want to do intervals short or not, walk bouts or not, you just do them in Free Run mode. When you change your pace the treadmill changes its pace. You want to start walking? You just start walking and bam the treadmill adjusts... no need for any integration. You just run your workout and do whatever intervals you want, when you want.
I enjoyed video while waking on my Precor. My price guess $3,500.

Do you know whats the maximum Incline could be ?
The specs were not fully released and finalized but it looks like 15% maximum incline and -3%.

I think they are phasing it out. My new core developed noise and they replaced it with a refurbished Kickr5
I connect my treadmill via bluetooth to zwift, why can someone just integrate automatic incline. I don't mind changing my own speed. The path is already there, who has to do the tweaking, zwift, horizon fitness?
Some of it is legal and companies worried about lawsuits potentially coming from treadmill throwing people off. But mostly lack of innovation in the treadmill market and everyone is trying to build their own subscription ecosystem.
Ugh. This is great but my wife has the peloton treadmill. She has all the peloton equipment while I have the all the wahoo equipment. We couldn't fit another treadmill or justify it's expense. 😢.
I really disliked the Peloton Tread when I tested it out. Surprised it is selling as well as it is.
I have the same problem, and we own the peloton tread and definitely wish we could have the peloton plus that’s definitely better. Now this is an amazing product from wahoo !

This reviewer has a great communication style that many prefer of others. Smart bike trainers does a great job and is a fantastic resource for honest reviews of all fitness tech products. I’m a big fan of this UA-cam channel.
