Karl actually is the bug with a invisible body! that’s why there’s no radiator mount and why bug parts align so well. This also leads to the fact it drives so smoothly because you have the correct engine in it. the likely reason karl has been spawning in is because mods are colliding and making karl spawn as a bug at stops. (ps:) get a bug for your next vehicle >:)

So karl was the beta model for the bug when the bug didnt exist and when the update came karl was replaced as a bug thats why we didnt see him anymore because he was replaced so karl is a bug that gliched and replaced a bug like a ghost possesing a body thats why he is white but with the right parts you could make a bug but karl will still be the body of the car so when you first saw karl he was just a bug that didnt have any door or engine just body(that was replaced by karl) and wheels
Theory: what if Karl heard that you were thinking oft taking the Bug and he appeared and made the Maxwell's meow when you talk about the Bug. This is my theory
