appreciate a review from someone that understands the way the games supposed to be played.
Im seeing alot of reviews complaining about things they dont understand. Theres a solution to every problem.
Stamina a problem. Carry mushrooms and use the hot key
Struggling with enemies. Change pawns
Fast travel sucks. Set up some portcrystals and farm ferrystones.
No waypoints. Hire pawns with quest knowledge.
Stuck in a death loop. Just run away.
I could go on but you get the point lol
Fr man, I love how you actually have to do stuff instead of it being given to you.
Portcrystals cost irl currency
Cant wait to play this one.

As an avid lover of the original and a console exclusive player, the performance seems just fine. I’m more focused on the game experience, and this looks like it’s gonna be an unforgettable one!!

It is not fine for the visuals showcased. sub 60fps is a terrible gaming experience for people who have powerful rigs and high refresh rates.
Are there difficulty settings? I am new to this series and really want to give this a shot. I want to know what im in for lol
No difficulty setting but it’s not like elden ring difficult if that’s what you’re worried about
@@hobbs7009 So easy mode is running around with 4 pawns and hard mode is solo with zero pawns, and then hardcore is perma death

I'll wait for it to go on sale, I've heard it's only around 30 hours. For some people that's fine, as a guy who buys one or two games a year (full price) I need more bang for my buck. Really happy for the dd team, game looks like it's gunna be a success
i have a question is the texture that meh looking or is it because of the youtube compression and also why the high setting only taking 2gb of vram wth and why the gpu only getting used by 45 % what is this performance

After 50 hours in, I agree with your assessment. It is an amazing game, and my favorite this year, and, quite frankly, all time.

Bought a new graphics card specifically for this game so i hope theres a day 1 performance patch lol. Either way im hype, started playing dd1 last week and that alome made me preorder 2
i think the problem with DD2 (and DD1) isn't the game itself per se. It's that the game design is inherently divisive, you'll either love it or hate it. Hence the fluctuating scores/
I can't even play, . It keeps crashing before character creation. I'm running on a 4080

No one has mentioned PC native controls, kb and mouse. Did Capcom probibit you talking about that? Or ppl dont understand the importance of snappy controls after Elden Ring.
It would make players more interactive with the outside world rather than just skipping it most of the time. Unless they need to hunt something or get somewhere or discover a new location. Get them out and enjoy their exploration a bit. Some can explore and find new locations and enjoy.
What are your PC specs? Why is no early PC player listing their specs in their videos?

its gets a 86 metacritic. Sounds like a Yes to me. Even if its 30fps beats games like Suicide Squad and Skull&Bones with max 60fps. I love first DD1 and making you guys creations.

Why is no review mentioning the microtransactions? Is everyone payed off or...?
Simple answer, the build I played didn’t have any sign of mtx, you learned about them at the same time I did. I would have 1000% mentioned it and criticized them for being in a single player game.
There’s no way they won’t fix the only problem with the game why wouldn’t they. Maybe launch day patch or something

I find it amazing that people complain about performance, yes i understand there needs to be upgrades but anyone who loves dogma will adore this game irregardless of framerate, we have been waiting a literal decade and this game will be worth the wait

This game is almost entirely CPU bound. Your outdated CPU most definitely hurt your performance compared to other 4090 rigs, as most people running a 4090 would be running a much newer CPU.
Im running a 4090, 7950x3d and 64gb 6000mhz ram... will I have the same issues? very hyped for this game but kind of worried about the performance...

The game is incredibly heavy on the CPU according to PC Gamer.
Your CPU will most definitely be holding you back. Pairing an RTX 4090 with a 10700k is a waste of your 4090. I know as i had my 4090 paired with my 10700k until i upgraded. You're losing a lot of perfromance with that CPU.
Oh I’m fully aware my cpu is outdated, I plan on upgrading soon. As I said in the vid, I’ll leave the in depth analysis to digital foundry haha
Your CPU is heavily bottlenecking your GPU. I wouldn’t expect much for this game to be CPU intensive but a 10700k is simply far too old to be using the 4090. It matters less when you increase graphical fidelity and resolution.

An absolutely broken, janky and unoptimized game that is a remake of the first but this time there is LESS of a focus on story. The nerve of Capcom and that hack director of this series, it’s not narrative driven at all.
This is gonna backfire so badly on capcom. If you were having trouble, then ps5 is fcked.
