It's great to see Daves custom chapter again and the basing scheme really fits the style too. The finished models remind me of medieval knights fighting over some European farmland, I love it!
One of the space marine's lenses are still grey too. Still, the models and bases look friggin' AMAZING!!! Can you guys do a tutorial on making awesome snow bases?
Just a tip regarding texture paste: for bases that size, I suggest you get some from either AK interactive or Vallejo, cause the cost to amount proportion from citadel is horrible. They are good, just not a lot for what they cost.
Or just mix wall spackle, cheap acrylic paint of the right color and fine sand, works about the same for a fraction of the price per volume, therefore is usable even on big terrain pieces
Please do a set of Space Marines mounted on bikes with lances, they would be so like king Arthurs knights of old, You could kit bash a knight looking helmet or make one of them a standard bearer with the units heraldry on it.
The in-sync head lowering to the table because of the outro was hilarious! If there ever is a routine outro, I don't know if it will have the same charm as these ones do. And those water textures are SICK!!! I love that the little guy is smooshing the flowers! Those little details add so much!!
Wow with the "relatively simple base technique that takes a little bit of finesse and time"tm I can use that on my diaroma and it is going to be more simple than what I was going to do thanks Dave
Jazz’s I loved your art channel because your just fun and entertaining and I’m so freaking happy with your tabletop Channel started war gaming when I was in elementary and love to have a new war gaming channel
this has the energy of those public access shows you would have to watch at like 1pm when you're home sick from school and your parents don't want you just sitting around watching cartoons all day
Ive done something akin to that by mixing lightweight wood filler, a bit of pva, some fine sand and craft paint, works very much like GW texture paint with a bit of extra volume but is super cheap and you can make it any color you need. The paint and PVA makes so it adheres really well and doesnt crack or chip.
Loving the bases! I am always worried that mixing tufts in different colors will look weird, but this proves that is not the case. I just need to figure out the environment they are in.
I really like Dave's custom army and I'm excited to see the future of it. This was a really cool video. I'm enjoying getting into minis and custom armies vicariously through y'all because I just can't do that right now. Love these videos!
Stamping a foot print in the mud before the resin was filled would have been awsome. So you could see we're is foot was as it lifted up. But awsome. You guys are sweet
well i´ve been using tea candles (about an inch wide maybe a centimeter high) for bases but now I would like to take it to the next level now to find the money
I wanna do this with some 6in characters I have a venom I wanna set up to fight juggernaut each one I posed in blender and I printed and painted them I just need to build a fight scene
I hope you’ve received the package I sent you Jazza, I’m freaking out about it being lost or maybe I didn’t wrap it properly and the contents fell out...
Dries in 10 minutes, so you had to close the box or its al dry ? And even closed how does it not dries ? I mean its strange, I dont understand, if you take green stuff per example, its two components, and you mix it then it dries.
It air dries very quickly. As soon as it is in contact with air. You need to reseal the box and there is a plastic cover that you put over the filler inside the container.
Because they arent finished yet - I weather and freehand AFTER basing - And this video was about the basing ;p - A keen eye will also notice a few areas on the models arent painted, such as some of the marines gun handles, the bionic arm on the sergeant etc.
"Easy tricks to make Wargaming Mini Bases stand out (FAST!)" 1. Use CAD to design the base for your MDF Laser Cutter... 2. *Proceed to use a series of GW basing materials* I've finally seen the answer to "This one trick to get smooth blends without an airbrush", which then proceeds to use an airbrush. Yes I too can knock out my basing after I got my basing materials sorted... ...And I don't even need $10k-$20k pieces of industrial prototyping equipment to do it.

@Franklyn Nedley @Eden Kieran are you two a pair of bots?
I guess I am kind of off topic but do anybody know of a good site to watch new movies online?
Ppsst - These models arent 100% finished - I do freehand and weathering after basing ;p
But they already look mad dude
👨🏽🎨 sooooooo, yeah,,,, it's raining tacos
I saw a totally grey purity seal on the one gun. So I have to agree that they are not finished... yet. But I have faith that they will get it done!
One of the space marine's lenses are still grey too. Still, the models and bases look friggin' AMAZING!!! Can you guys do a tutorial on making awesome snow bases?
They look so nice! Can't wait to see the finished ones!

In the US, that putty is called Spackling or Mud, it’s available cheaply at any home depot or lowes in the paint section! 😊
I love seeing a miniature base that matches the quality of the miniature itself
The only thing these models are now missing are mud splashes
Please do a set of Space Marines mounted on bikes with lances, they would be so like king Arthurs knights of old, You could kit bash a knight looking helmet or make one of them a standard bearer with the units heraldry on it.
Good idea!
Love the idea of adding a centrepiece objective marker to the squad base... allows it to be functional and decorative!
Monday’s are now my favourite day of the week
You could also add a sheet of magnetic tin between the two main plates and bam, magnetized display base. I cut mines from soda/beer cans.

What great timing! I just bought some of that to patch a hole I made in my wall! Now I have a use for the leftovers!
this has the energy of those public access shows you would have to watch at like 1pm when you're home sick from school and your parents don't want you just sitting around watching cartoons all day
Those resin puddles look amazing.
I love these videos that show awesome hobby tips and skills while also documenting the cast as they all have mental episodes
Cool!! I never thought of using spackle! I’m definitely giving this a go 💖✨the UV resin too!
I love the fact you are OZ!!!! it makes it easier for me to find the exact same stuff here in Melbourne! :P
These two lads have to be the most EPIC people on the planet! Love these guys!

I love your videos ❤️ they are so chill thank you!
This looks like a great lockdown hobby if you're into model painting. Just stockpile your miniatures and materials, and have fun during quarantine.
Loving the bases! I am always worried that mixing tufts in different colors will look weird, but this proves that is not the case. I just need to figure out the environment they are in.
That No at the end! lol!!
I really love, how the lense of this camera is 3X the size of the body.
I really like Dave's custom army and I'm excited to see the future of it.
This was a really cool video. I'm enjoying getting into minis and custom armies vicariously through y'all because I just can't do that right now.
Love these videos!
Look at you two! Closer than two peas in a pod! That friendship is solid. And we have tabletop games and minis to thank for that.
Nice work Dave!
These videos are simply the best, there's no better way to start the week
Nice guide for some bases, thanks guys.
this is such a good channel i love yall
Yess! Ive been waiting to see more of Dave's knights!
I love the editing on these
Hey is there a video of the awesome marines getting painted?
Thanks for ideas and step tutorial for basing of my Dark Angels :D
Love it, guys! I wonder if the spackle would adhere easier if you roughed up the mdf with some sandpaper first? Just an idea. Keep up the great work!
Amazing. Fort videomive seen from you guys. Loved the models and the bases are wow!
Subbed 💪💪
Stamping a foot print in the mud before the resin was filled would have been awsome. So you could see we're is foot was as it lifted up. But awsome. You guys are sweet
I appreciate the brilliant paint job without some of the latest gimmicky things. They just look great.
What awesome tips! Cheers guys.
if it matters i got Jazzas Our Time reference, such a good song !!
I loved the musical reference
I think this series shouldn't be named Mini Monday, it should be called "Embrace the Chaos"!
I'm doing something similar like this but each unit is themed off the knights of the round table
Try to prime the mdf prior to the spackling
The editor took NONE of that trolling cues BS. :P
We wouldn't have it any other way XD
Nice work!
Just got notified and i already know this is gonna be good. It's minis and ttt, what do you expect? Also hi
Hello!
Weird question, but what colours were used for the gold parts of the power armour. Looks really nice and want to try using it on my minis.
They should make a table that has magnets in it so the miniatures stick to the table with another magnet in the mini’s base
It would be costly
What inexpensive starter sets for space marines has psychic phase and stratagems
If I ever go to Australia I need to go to Dave's store
Dave has a store? What's it called?
Merrily We Roll Along!
well i´ve been using tea candles (about an inch wide maybe a centimeter high) for bases but now I would like to take it to the next level now to find the money
what color did you use for their armor?
Hot damn those look amazing!
Well that is one expensive base if you do it with the gw texture paints. Looks great non the less!
Can you make a battle report with big minis like the one you Jazza
Jazza: embrace the chaos
*angry inquisitor noises*
Merrily we roll along
Yesssss
o my God Im trying to make the hobby box that jazza made and its going pretty bad 😅 part of me wants to give up but I gotta see it through!
Southside Brisbane AU: You can get Gamers Grass @ Irresistible Force ☺
Here in the UK we have been playing with these and various other types of ground foliage for ages, so what took you so long getting this idea out?
I loved the content. I just have one problem, if they're the 4th company, why do they have the roman numeral for 5 on their heraldry?
Because
My brain did a silly when I made the words
They're the 5th company XD
Man, I need a job that lets me work on my minis...
Don't we all...

Godd day to all
Up next: One Eye Open, REBOOT.EXE.

Im busy laughing about how you have the citadel water pot...good video though.
One critique on an otherwise great project.
Why are the models themselves so clean if you went through all the effort to make a muddy base?
Because they arent finished yet - I weather and freehand AFTER basing - And this video was about the basing ;p - A keen eye will also notice a few areas on the models arent painted, such as some of the marines gun handles, the bionic arm on the sergeant etc.
Hi
I made the likes even and the comments odd
Kangoroo bucks
Can I get some kangaroo bucks...
Heelllo
just use news paper and pvc glue way cheaper lol.....

36th comment!!! 2 hours.
7 dollars for the basing materials...lets not talk about having a laser cutter in our shop...
Easy tricks: *uses a laser cutter*
not hating just thought it was funny
Well... yes... The cool display thing sure, but the actual basing stuff is easy as pie :)
