Question! Do you need to have more oil, due to (I’m guessing) the oil cooler keeping oil inside? Also don’t you need some kind of a pump to get the oil flowing in the cooler? Does that make sense? 😁
Yes. I’m glad you asked. I had actually recorded a bit talking about that, but I butchered it so bad I couldn’t save it in editing. Your car will take around a quart more. But the oil changes will be the same since that extra quart is sitting in the lines and the oil cooler.
Is there a thermostat in the adapter? If not how would be a good way to have a thermostat routed in this setup. We have moderately cold winters and hot summers therefore i absolutely need a thermostat.
There is no thermostat. I’m sure there is a way to add one in. I don't know if I recommend this on a daily driver. my two cars are only driven when it’s warm outside.
I Think they aren't very good and resell is terrible. so feel free to send it to me... ill take it off your hands.. Totally kidding, I’m super jealous! I think they are one of the best bmws ever made and have aged like fine wine. I’d love to see pics of the car!
I thought so just wasn’t a 100% sure called drift Hq they said they are trying to source a replacement o ring as the are out of stock tried auto part stores near me none of the can match it
Definitely not trying to talk down on these products. Good designs and can’t complain about the price. But they only place they fall short is the gaskets. Like you mentioned, the valve cover and others like the fuel pressure regulator. I always just get new gaskets. Not a huge deal. I find AC/freon gaskets work really well.
Thanks for watching! Use code " TENZA11 " for 11% off your order!

Cool stuff, Is that oil filter cap will fit N46 engine?

What’s your opinion on the e28 m5? I’ve owned one for around bit now and I must say it’s the best bmw I’ve ever driven.

@@TenzaMotorsports I would love to show you! I’m not sure if you have instagram or whatever
I do. Tenza_motorsports
Cheers for the video highly appreciated
I got the same oil cap and an oil cooler, but it’s leaking from the oil cap top the part tht sandwiches together
Any idea why it could be
Gasket on the top is probably bad. Only downside to any system like this. Pull it out and get a good replacement.

@@TenzaMotorsportsand love the video this one and the valve cover especially pulled the trigger on these two things because of your videos keep it up

How has this oil cap adapter fared so far? Any leaks or issues?
No leaks other than an incorrectly installed oil line. I talk about it in another video.

Do you have air conditioning still?
I do not. All that has been removed
What was the total cost for this set up?
This will cost just under $300. If you use all the discounts it'll be closer to 250.
