I definitely think if you want to win one of these, you need to spend a while practicing a specifically designed twist. Firstly, its more fair for the hunters. Secondly, I noticed a lot of the other hunters in this group actually get a huge advantage during the time the people are trying to figure out the twist. This is magnified for something complicated like say... Darkness is OP, where the world is permanently new moon night (the period when the hardest and rarest mobs spawn) and there's a mod on that prevents full bright style texture packs from letting you see past your light sources. Combine that with having to craft specific items and use them in specific places to get the good sides of this twist and this will ease up the skill gap for you.
Either that or just made a really entertaining video where half it is just you guys surviving against the mobs because they're always on you and practically hunting you down. The mod where mobs start tracking you by your blood trails when your hurt might be super useful for that.
Next twist you should make the world Qndres proof. Maybe have the end have no void.

Prot 4 isn't invincible(you'd need a higher level of Prot, and that would have to come from a twist), but your twist gave you Resistance 3 a tthat moment, that's what was doing it
it really does feel like you are trying to lose sometimes haha you should not have lost this one.
