One of my all time favourite albums. Totally underrated artist. Lucky enough to meet Lewis and Tony Moore’s monday night live music nights down in Northumberland Close, what was it called? Anyhoo, This needs to be rediscovered x
IT'S TRAGIC! ...How underrated this guy is - he's got everything absolutely brimming with soul, been a fan since I first bought "The Lost Album" waaaaay back!
Lewis, if you read this.. Parrish Muhoberac here.. I'm classically trained and all, professional singer from age 3, and multi-instrumentalist.. I'm 43 now, and I do any style of music I'm told to, as a session muso... People say I'm a genius, etc.. you know, most of the time I respond with.. "Really? THEN, you HAVEN'T heard LEWIS TAYLOR before!!!!".... Seriously, every aspect of your music I love and appreciate in a MASSIVE way, so I'm just expressing my thanks to you... I wouldn't be the same musician I am today, if it weren't for buying your "First" album in 1996 and being stunned by it, and everything after that too.. Thank you, my friend.
His debut album is in my top 5 of all time. The way he melded so many genres together and with those great Marvin Gaye turnarounds at the end of the tunes. Brilliant. Genius. Missed very much.
Sir! Welcome back! Does this mean you’re gonna release new music again????? Cuz we need you back! You’ve been such an inspiration to so many people and it would be amazing to hear from you again. Much love from Amsterdam ❤️
@@dogsbreath2222 I've seen Lewis and Jacob live multiple times. Two musical geniuses from North London. Personally, Lewis's music is among the most significant in my life's journey.
@@dogsbreath2222 I'm not familiar with David Sancious. Prince and Todd Rundgren is the name that usually gets thrown in when the conversation about one man band comes up. Stevie and McCartney too. The name I would include is Shuggie Otis.

In a class of his own
So ahead of his time, listening to this album over the years I’m always finding new things I love about it.
A timeless masterpiece !
Recently discovered Caleb Hawley and he quoted Lewis as his number one influence. Can definitely hear it but enjoy both artists now
Aaliyah Haughton was a huge fan of you.💕
So good it makes you cry
Legend xxxx
I'll always go back to this album, among others by this guy.

I bought the CD when it came out. You were too far into the future.
Are you listening Jacob Collier? You two should write together. This man is a genius.
Lol wait the singers white???? 😂
Sublime music. Am I allowed to say I think the drummer looks really sexy. Too late, said it.
