@@NooBearAus in fact I’d like to contact you. I may have developed some techniques that I’d like to share and I noticed that whenever you share a technique from someone else you always mention it. That is so honest and lovable of you.

A tip for evenly spaced thrown rings on the cabone. Using a ruler and pen, draw a line across the upper and lower portions of the ring. Continue to make marks equidistance around the ring which will correspond to the number of thrown/floating rings desired. This will ensure an equal number of ds between each ring since even threads of the same size will differ depending on the dye. I've even had thread on the same spool with uneven density. Or if you use a different size thread that the designer specifies, this technique will prevent you from guessing how many ds to make.

This is how I usually mark my cabone ring, but I hadn't planned on making two thrown rings! - I didn't count stitches, I was just demonstrating how to do it.... I probably should have thought about making the thrown rings even though!😆

Awesome. Thanks heaps. Do you sell the rings? If so how much for how many please?

You're welcome! I don't sell the rings - I bought mine from Spotlight, many craft stores have them.
