I've never known anyone from Oklahoma, let alone anyone associated with Oklahoma State basketball or athletics, but I'm now 100% ready to run through a brick wall for the coach after this statement
I've been to one football game there as a fan of the opposing team. They're really gracious fans and dont make you feel unwelcome; just overall really cool fans (unlike some other schools). Would love to go back again. And like you, I'd run through a brick wall for this guy, too.
My brother was doing his post doc at OSU. I went to a football game. The absolute nicest fans you’ll ever meet everybody their went above and beyond to treat you with respect!
you gotta love coach's emotion. This will make the team only stronger. Let's see what the NCAA does when KU comes before them with FIVE major infractions.
We all know they aren't going to do a thing to Kansas. It's about time everyone comes to that realization. The NCAA is corrupt and they will whatever they have to do to make money.
Are they ever gonna do anything to Kansas? They had five major infractions. We all saw what baylor football did and the nvaa didn't do crap. They should've gotten the death penalty.
Would do anything for coach mike after seeing truly just how much he cares for the university, players and program moving forward. big props to the man for dropping the names so they wouldn’t be able to hide behind the envelopes
You’re right it’s criminal what they’ve done to these kids. Big fan of Avery Anderson, he played against my kids in high school. Kid has enough talent to play professionally. Feel so bad for him. It’s criminal.
Lmao what. 6 final fours and two national championships? One of the greatest basketball head coaches in history? Had the No. 1 in the country last year and went No. 1 in the NBA Draft? People know about Oklahoma State basketball dude. And they bring in money. The NCAA is just completely bullshit.
@@justinjones7738 no, what j is saying is, yes, they may have done what you said but they are not as popular as the Dukes and UNCs of the world, so the NCAA doesn't mind punishing them (Oklahoma State).
Okie State should be pissed, since Kansas has done and been found guilty of much worse with NO punishment. Kansa is the cheating machine, not the cowboys !
Please explain how this is karma genius? One person commits a violations and kids who were in high-school at the time get punished? If that is your idea of karma I feel sorry for you ha
Whole Athletics is doing bad thing so Karma got them i seen it first hand. So Im laughing at how you dont understand karma, look fact is dont cry about it just accept it. Something you have a hard time with i can see. GOOD LUCK BUDDY WITH YOUR HATE. #Facts#StopTheHate
@@normanmartinez1382 so what is the karma for schools like Kansas, Kentucky, North Carolina that did much much worse and have received literally zero punishment. If this is karma for what the NCAA deems as a "secondary violation", what is the karma for schools that pay players hundreds of thousands of dollars, help them cheat on tests, pay recruits to get them to play there etc...

Exactly lol!
The day he was announced as head coach the entire fan base had this same emotion, and it’s amazing to see years later that he still stands firm

Nothing will happen to Kansas. One of the committee has his law degree from Kansas.
They won’t touch the blue bloods
Major trash… makes me mad honestly
KU is lawyered up already. They know how to fight rather than cooperate. NCAA only understands the big stick!
I absolutely loved Coach Boynton’s response. So much passion. I have no doubt he’ll have the team rise above this and play some amazing basketball.

The NCAA is a complete joke. Put that horse down already and tell them, their services are no longer needed, and form a new governing body

One of the best basketball coaches on this entire planet🙏🏼🙏🏼love you Coach B
#1 coach
Boynton is a gem, not just as a coach but as a person.
Love Weiberg’s response but Boynton’s is priceless.
Everyone in the country knows this is a crime. We'll still be there for you this season coach!
Those who run the NCAA, are criminals.
You’re right it’s criminal what they’ve done to these kids. Big fan of Avery Anderson, he played against my kids in high school. Kid has enough talent to play professionally. Feel so bad for him. It’s criminal.
The other big 12 schools should start pulling out of the tournament in protest.
I like the idea but it would just punish those kids as well as ours
Are you thankful that this is over
BAD QUESTION GUY!
Great answer
I’d play for that man in a heartbeat
Boynton is great
Oklahoma State doesn't bring in the big money to the NCAA.
It's doesn't matter we got Robbed!

Why did they wait till now and not last year? They didnt want Cade, the projected #1 pick, banned from tv

Just have a booster give them 3 full ride NIL deals and that issue is solved.
Can we at least have out $300 dollars back
Suck it up move forward. As for the team and staff, sorry you should of went to a different school if you wanted more to offer.
