- We recently returned to Stillwater, Oklahoma to check out the Cowboys' renovated Gallagher-Iba Arena, which now includes one of the best college basketball locker rooms in the country, a total of 14 luxury suites, an ode to those who died in the tragic plane crash of 2001 and a one-of-a-kind marble staircase that connects the two-story basketball rest haven for the team. It's safe to say Cade Cunningham lived luxuriously during his lone year at OK State.

He went there because of his brother. I’m sure this definitely helped remove any doubt for Cade though
@@cassiusproductions correction, mike boynton had been recruiting him before he even played a HS varsity basketball game. Mike was the first to give cade an offer and this was before his brother was at Oklahoma State. I'm sure his brother being there helped solidify his decision but OSU had been on him before anyone else.

This Coach recruited me to Oral Roberts University... Talking just like this! Talked me into coming to Oral Roberts over larger schools back in 98. He took me for a ride in his jeep wrangler with the top off and talked me into going there. Great Coach and Great Dude! Love you.Coach.Hinson

My friend is in part of the department that is in charge of school donations. He says OBrate Stadium is just off the charts. Better facility than Mississippi State, and theirs is electric.

Love this arena. There is nothing like wrestling on this floor with 14000 people in the arena rooting for you. Its come a long way since my freshman year in 1996 wrestling and working out in that dungeon. I was proud to have been there when it finished construction and love the new basketball room. I can't wait to see the new wrestling locker room and facility.

The shot tracker is actually crazy tech for basketball. I can imagine someone on OSU getting hot from three and they really check the data, if it was all net or if it hit rim going into the basket.

@@WestsiderSC 4th most athletic national championships, the best ratings and money made out of any remaining Big 12 school. A top 5 arena in college basketball, and a football team that will compete in the Pac 12, ACC, and Big 10. Also they were ranked by ESPN as the most appealing team left in the Big 12 for other conferences. But sure, nobody wants a world class athletic department that’s probably better than your favorite school.

I enjoyed the tour of Gallagher Iba Arena. It doesn't look anything like it did when I went there as a freshman recruit back in 1957. Our freshman class included Lew Wade, Dick Soergal, Dennis Walker, Jack Hollingsworth, and a few others. Those names may or may not be familiar, but also playing during those years was Eddie Sutton (a junior) and Mel Wright (a senior). The Cowboys beat KU that year in Gallagher Iba Arena when Wilt Chamberlain played for KU.
Yes, there is a lot of history in that building. Mr. Iba was the coach and Sam Aubrey was the freshman coach.
A lot of water has gone under the bridge. I still think about how I spent 1957.
As a Texas Tech fan it would be dope to see Arkansas baseball facility!
