I definitely agree Oracene worked more with Serena than Richard Williams. I know it was dramaticized in the movie but it did give light to the fact that Oracene was the one who really developed Serena’s game in the beginning including her serve and so she deserves all the credit as much as Richard Williams does

I believe Serena got her mental strength from Oracene. She was so composed. There were times Richard couldn't watch the matches anymore. He had to stand up for a while and come back later to continue the match. I never saw her do that
Love Oracene, she's seen it all and is so funny. You can tell she both appreciates really great tennis, but also cannot be bothered to sit for a long match or watch her daughters make certain mistakes when they know better.
The best part was her SLEEPING during Serena’s last match 😂

I don’t think it should have been the focus, but in the later years, she had really checked out, you go back and watch matches as I have done many times, she was almost always sleeping. Sometimes not even aware when the match was over. Too many matches, too much travelling, and I suppose it had all become routine.
The one I was looking for is when Serena hit a swinging forehand volley at the 2009 US Open against Kim clijsters 😂😂😂😂
