This is why leadership is vital to any company or organization. It’s the one tiny bit of vision that enables a huge bit of success. RIP, Steve.

While they didn't become big brother, they definitely fell into heavily restrictive uniformity.
I'm looking at how their computers aren't upgradeable, taking features iphone features away and selling it back to us at extra cost, and the "apple tax".
It has gotten to the point where their fans are basically the people in that room in the commercial.

Erm.. it’s a metaphor idiot. Of course they are not saying apple is big brother. Only that their greed and restrictiveness resembles the advert.

Cristian Smistad honestly in my perspective it seems like there telling us to stop watching tv because its brainwashing us after all that is why it was invented but thats just my take on the commercial it seems like they are warning us

Why the ad is so good is that anyone can interpret it the way he wants. The basic idea is fighting the authority/establishment whatever they might be called (IBM or any other dictatorship regime, or even brainewashed up democracies etc.) - This is a revolutionary ad by it's message and it is superbly done. Up until we know what is the product being advertised this ad could apply for just about anything revolutionary by essence, whatever the fight against may be.
