Woo...she's a sexy, svelte, shapely supermodel of a light- oh. I sense Slaaneshi whispers influencing the game designers, with this boggling male/female naming switcheroo-blend. Regardless of the confused misnomer useful for marketing purposes, this lil' lady's a sleek and imposing design. The built-in bamboo-boogie-boot ankles and the Voltron chest give the Vixen its profile distinction. Yeah, as has been already mentioned here, it definitely appears influenced by Japanese pop culture - including the common use of handheld rifles. AND, the focus upon laser weapon variations over ballistic armament. That hot rod-fire on a body of black/dark grey color scheme is one attractive option...(pilot) ladies? Leave it to a band of Mercs to be the ones to re-purpose this model; at least the most memorably. The Vixen-Incubus' base model is definitely different enough in the universe to stand out. Upon double-checking, I didn't encounter this eye-catcher in my old MechWarrior experience. It really is reminiscent of manga/anime...more like a suit. Typically unusual, to come from the Clans. PPCs to victory! Thank you for this info on this Robotech statue, er, unusual 'Mech, GDN.
One thing about the incubus almost looks like is going into Gundam and Maccross territory here which are pretty good TV series if you ever seen them But it is a very good reliable mech to help you with some variety with your heavier Mech's and good for a light scouting Force For holding objectives also if you're daring enough and advance rushing Force if you could pull off the right Way I like to use them for Hit and run Also I love the looks of it and it reminds me of Gundam and Maccross 😀👍
That would be the Stinger and Wasp LAMS; the origanal Art for both FASA(BT) and Macross/Robotech(Harmony Gold) used the same design company. Thats why the Original Marauder looks like a Zentradi Officers Pod. Big legal battle happened afterwards.
Seen plenty of these in BTA 3062, once you get up to the Clan Occupation zone. In the the early game, they are hell to take down with IS level equipment. If I remember right(been a long time since I read it), the Vixen was in the novel Ghost of Winter.
Nice video, Grim. Again I appreciate you're diligence in making these detailed and honest videos on items, especially about BattleTech. I hope you can investigate doing the QuadVees. They're healthy amount stuff on them.
I'm sorry but I look at this thing and I think that the clans stole a stinger, retrofitted it with all of their advanced technology, and used it so that garrisoned mechwarriors could fight against elementals when they got into arguments. Edit: or depending on the design quite possibly found a use for all the assassins they probably took with them on the Exodus
Currently the Incubus is my personal preference for mechs in my campaign. I regularly take on IS mechs twice my tonnage and dominate with minimal damage in return.

I've always felt this mech is what a Wasp IIC would have looked like.

Looks ripped almost straight from it
@@xxxlonewolf49 that's the reason I clicked this video lol, it looked like a straight copy-paste of a Variable Fighter from Macross.

Many where actually. This came out same time as the Hellhound (Conjurer), which is literally a headless Gundam in its original art.

Such a great harasser when you piece one together with clan scrap.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll do one or two episodes on them at some point. Didn't know they existed.
GDN, you have a way with words.
Nice work, as always.

A fascinating little mech.
I love that it's also called "The Vixen" 💜

I love the Incubus, I pair the 3 model with a Conjurer, these two together often can take out a whole Lance of IS mechs pretty easy
I always thought that many of the Clan 2nd line mechs were much more interesting than the Omni designs.
Great video was usual. I have not seen this "Super Wasp" before.
Cool, this one looks like it would make a great LAM.
Muh favorite mech in the whole game.
This is probably my favorite non omni clan mech
Thanks!
Thank you very much.
Thanks for the vid sir.👍🏼👍🏼
You're welcome.
What is the Canopusion narrator or was that a joke 🙂?
I was going to ask the same thing? I hope he not talking about Tex.
It was a joke, since the mech is called the vixen and canopians are known sex traffickers.
🤔😜👍
