Ah, now THIS is a profile that I do remember from out of the literal pixelated fog of my days of MechWarrior many years ago. These models did have a slower approach to other light 'Mechs across the plains that I encountered them on. That long range provided them the field to constantly spew out their loaded weaponry suites from far distance though. The Kit Fox outlines were always telltale from far away, too. I never piloted a Kit Fox but facing off against them on the battlefield I always had to keep moving. To my experience, wherein I know I've fought the “A' variant, the armaaent repertoire of a Kit Fox is a proven trade-off for being a Light class design with lower peak velocity. Particularly as a group support unit. And this long collection of adaptations listed by the Narrator also demonstrates such an equipment versatility across all environments of the BattleTech universe. One of the most varied and customized models, at least of its classification, that I can recall in recent record. This was a fun look at not only a stout and sturdy 'small'-class 'Mech built to pack a wallop but a nostalgic personal blast from my past for a change, GDN. I thank you for that and 'til you come back to BattleTech have an awesome and healthy week.
Oh boy Mike I barely remember the day when I first painted a kit fox never really played with the model very much because my Love for the light and fast mech's But did have some quality firepower to deal with light infiltration light tanks and other light Mech's plus your well done comment on it does it justice 😀👍
This was also used as a Training Mech for the Falconers training their cadets in the Clan Homeworlds. Thanks for going through all the lore tell us about this one, Grim! Thank You!
Oh boy the kit fox looks like an upgraded ed-209 but it still good for other light Mech's and light infantry from my experience Plus at 4:02 in the video it's kind of ironic since they came from clan cobra giving that GI Joe Cobra bad guy color scheme done well 😁👍
Ah, the memories. From piloting one in a Trial of Position in MW2, to the mass swarms of these things in MechCommander. And for a piddly 30 tonner, it sure does pack a punch.
For being 5 tons lighter then a Cougar, then yes. As for an Urbie? Depends on which version. The Davie Crocket Urbie out fire powers 99.9% of the Assualt mechs out there.
@@vojtechpribyl7386 One of the main problems with the Urbie(and there are many), is it usually only carries 1 large weapon. Great if you hit with it, but if you miss, your toast. And sorry to say, but a 25 ton stock Commando has more raw damage potential over quite a few Urbie variants.

Thanks for listening.
Fox Patrol certainly put this mech in the forefront. It's an amazing little machine. I'd pilot one myself.

I love that little murder machine
Cool as all get out.
This is one nasty light mech.
Every clan mech has a ridiculous amount of configurations LOL Like Tex said, its Legos with guns.
Love this little mech:)
We really do like our kit foxes 🙂
Thanks GDN😊
You're welcome.
For the Khan, for GDR!
Thanks
No problem
The most overgunned light 'Mech? Cougar anyone? Urbie?
Hollander? Piranha?
@@dubuyajay9964 Hollander gets close, but Piranha is just popguns. We want some big honking guns on ridiculously overgunned designs! :D

@@gregdomenico1891 Any level 1 Urbie really. Given the available tech it sacrifices everything for it's guns.
