I had the 10 ultra and now the 11 ultra and i think the 11 ultra is a step up. What disappointed me a lot with the 10 ultra ( which of course with updates might be a removed issue ) was that the lights in night time shots came out too yellow. With the 11 ultra that's not the case. I've also had the exynos version of the S21 ultra and when i had both the S21 ultra and the mi 12 ultra i chose to keep the mi 11 ultra because i thought the shots came out better with the 11 ultra , especially night shots where i think the mi 11 ultra truly outshines the S21 ultra. I however believe that the snapdragon version of the S21 ultra is better than the exynos when it comes to the camera department so it might be that it's very close between Xiaomi and Samsung . What's negative with both the mi 11 ultra and S21 ultra is that the shutter is pretty slow with moving objects , like people moving naturally where pictures come out blurry. In this department i use my pixel 4a 5g which is really snappy, like iphones.
Great video. To me the S21 ultra wins a more, however the colors seem more natural on mi 11 ultra. It's such a close call between these. But in my country Denmark, the Samsung us about 30% more expensive, so the Mi 11 ultra is a clear winner for me.
The thing with the Mi 11 Ultra is the scarcity of the Global version. I just can't find one on sale and can only purchase the China version through 3rd party imports which also means that I'd have to flash the global rom myself and also forego warranty claims since importing the phone means going through RMA claims via the importers instead of the manufacturers. Is your Mi 11 Ultra the global or china version? Did you flash a 3rd party rom?
Great video Grant. Both devices held their own. There were some photos where S21 Ultra was the winner and others where it was a tie. Xiaomi has great phones. People sleep on them for sure.
