    Breeze overcharges for drinks and snacks.

    Only about 2 weeks ago, my sister in law sat in the Huntsville Alabama terminal with a plane load of others waiting for their flight to Orlando for about 6 hrs. NO Breeze employees anywhere (until boarding time), NO airport staff, even the TSA entry area was closed as the airport’s last outgoing flight was long gone and they don’t stay open all night. Her plane, which should have arrived around 8:45PM got to Orlando after 2AM. During the wait in Huntsville, I tried tweeting Breeze for help. Nothing. But I guess it turned out OK. Breeze gave them all a TWENTY DOLLAR credit toward a future flight. She won’t be flying then again nor will anyone in our family. The airlines get away with all lot but this was too much. (I also looked up the flight history and that particular one is close to or equally delayed about 50% of the time, so they know there is a problem but don’t care. Imagine if you showed up at work 6 hours late 50% of the time? Breeze, like all airlines, could not care less about their passengers. What are you gonna do, drive there?

    Breeze is a train wreck. I give them one year.

    If you look well in advance & do comparison shopping (if you have flexible dates), you can get nice deals in their Nicest section. In January, I flew CAK (Akron/Canton)-LAS ROUNDTRIP non-stop for a total of $448.00. That included (each way) Nicest seat, 2 free checked bags, 1 carryon, 1 personal item, seat assignment choice at booking, premium snack & free alcoholic drink (because flight was over 4 hours), & priority boarding. Well worth the price. I have flown them twice now & pleased with the service. In June, we are going PIT-SNA. My one way fare in Nicest is $361.00, which is still a great fare with everything included when you look at fares in First on other carriers. The greatest drawback for me is that their flights are seldom daily service.

      I’m looking at going back to Orlando next week and have found that too $448 round trip in Nicest. Have you tried the nice vs. nicest? How would you compare?
      I’m thinking about pulling the trigger on that and again at end of May.

      @@TheLynchBurgers I have not traveled in Nice. Because of a back injury a few years ago, I need that extra space to move around in & not have my legs possibly bump into passenger next to me. However. on a flight from CAK to PBI, I was in the Nicer seat because the aircraft (a E-195 jet) didn't have a Nicest cabin. It's the same seat with 3" more legroom. For an hour & half flight, it was fine.

    There's a breeze airways hub where I live in san Antonio

      No. Breeze Airways (MX) stopped service to SAT a year ago in May 2022. They only had about 4 flights weekly; definitely no hub.

    Unfortunately breeze uses 3rd party gate agents at non breeze hub cities so the service might not be as good as breeze agents

      @TheLynchBurgers  Рік тому

      Yeah of course they are still pretty new and expanding with only 29 planes right now. Hopefully they will expand and have their own gate agents and ground crews. The flight attendants were super nice too I had a lengthy conversation with ours in the back of the plane during the flight.

    thank you for all the good information. do they fly out of Philadelphia

      @TheLynchBurgers  Рік тому +1

      Hi Elizabeth. You’re welcome! I just checked they do not fly out of Philly but do fly out of Pittsburg. Their business model right now is to fly to a lot of the underserved airports who wouldn’t normally get as many major airlines at them. They only own 29 planes so they can only offer certain routes, unlike southwest delta American etc who have so many hubs to transfer. So if it works for where you’re going then it’s amazing. They are expanding now so hopefully they will be at more places soon!

      @TheLynchBurgers  Рік тому +1

      @@elizabethcrosson6380 Same! Just the thought scares me, though Frontier has an occasional nonstop flight from Ontario California to Orlando, it’s tempting but Breeze was really nice. Now that I’m flying back and forth to the East Coast it’s a pain switching Planes on Southwest in Texas or having issues with weather in Texas Central states.

      Somehow my reply gets deleted; even though I got a heart comment from The LynchBurgers. I'll keep keep replying because there isn't anything said that's controversial. The cities served are shown on Breeze.

      @@tpajay that’s really weird I’ll check and see if it’s auto bouncing it. Sometimes UA-cam does that, nothing we’re doing purposefully.
