    These interviews are so valuable, you need to prepare bcz time passes so quickly, and this interview is a solid reminder that 2035 will come quicker than my colleagues think, that's why I am preparing my self since 2021 to have a comfortable retirement at 2035 in pattaya.

    Would love to see a video regarding where you can watch/record sporting events such as NFL, NHL. MLB, and NBA. One of my daily go to's is watching my favorite sports teams throughout the year.

      Great suggestion! I mad some notes already. The short answer is many people have an android box that they travel with. Mine is a small 2"X3"X1" box that attach's to my tv via a html cable. This box cost me $50 + a yearly $60 subscription. I get all worldwide sporting events including ppv. I also get live tv from my hometown in the USA, and probably another 20K+ movies. These boxes are available all over Thailand and I'm guessing in many other countries. Last year, I brought one to my father in Illinois. He told me he is saving over $200 a month now by eliminating cable tv. Stay tuned for more info.

    Hello, I just discovered your channel today. I'm seriously considering moving to Pattaya because I met a Thai girl some months back. I plan to visit there a couple of times before actually moving there. I enjoyed the interview with Larry. I'm from Detroit so of course he got my attention. You ask some excellent questions which I learned some things. Take care and I'll be following you.

      Haha, it’s always a tossup with this question. A friend of mine suggested, I added the question. Most Europeans have heard of Vegemite or marmite most Americans have never heard of it before Personally, I normally always butter my toast and sometimes put a little bit of jam on it so that’s the closest I can come to Vegemite I think I guess everybody does things different, I’ve asked this question before and as you said, they use both other people only use Vegemite. Are they wrong? Thanks for your input.

    Was a very nice interview.. the question about ford vs Chevy is one that translates to everything weather it be 1 country vs another or 1 religion vs another and it is a great analogy. I am a Honda guy myself. Another thing I wonder about is why not have military pension DD into Bangkok Bank? I have been thinking about doing mine this way and have gotten the paper from then Military todo it, just have not pulled the trigger yet. Anyone out there have made this choice?

    • @MargaritasinParadise
      @MargaritasinParadise  7 місяців тому +1

      I think people become complacent to a certain degree. They like things the way they are, and become lazy to change. I have a friend who has his military pension on DD to Bangkok Bank in New York City. He says it seamless. I contacted Bangkok Bank, they told the New York office is only for commercial accounts. Still, it would be interesting to hear how other retirees handle their transfers.
