THANK YOU! I’m 75 and have been switching to cruelty free products. BUT...the foundations are all heavier! I can’t figure it out! One is like paint that needs thinner added! I mixed moisturizer with it but it just goes on streaky. I have 5 bottles of foundation I can’t wear! What I need is BB cream! Lol But I didn’t know the difference and just stayed away from them! I so wish your line was cruelty free, Nikol! But I learn a lot watching you!

That was a great video. I was just in Ulta the other day trying to buy a CC cream. The nice lady talked me into a tinted moisturizer. It’s not enough coverage so I’m taking it back. I might try the Clinique one, though the It CC looked beautiful on you. I’m 71 so I definitely need the moisture. Thanks so much.

@@reneewaltman988 Hello Renee! Tx for tip ... same for clothes underwear and SHOES also SO hard to judge on-line; I have a sort of capsule wardrobe anyway and don't buy fast fashion but something wasn't quite right there used to be a tailor .... I'm a bit of a qvetcher luckily who doesn't take herself too seriously. Shopper's Drug mart depending on the outlet sometimes has a good spectrum of affordable makeup and testers ... in my 40s I wore Mac which would be ridiculous now ... I was able to test out various lightweight combinations of sunscreen and light foundations and came up with SPF Vichy 50 superlight no cast invisible don't know it's on and went back to my teens with the sheerest Clinique foundation; use a brush also 15% SPF so if worried about dislodging anything no worries. I know everyone is different but because of testers worth a try, depending on your skin type. I am a dog person; well right now a one dog person, a Peke who weighs 10 lbs and thinks she's a grey hound so I am outside (thank god) for about an hour and a half over the course of day, including this one; the makeup is stable should I choose to wear it and with a foaming cleanser ... I like Cerave lots out there it really comes off and doesn't harm my skin. .... I am sort of writing off summer in Toronto; had 2 shots luckily but of course doesn't guarantee immunity nor access to shops; .... or hairdressers ... dog groomers yes. Sorry for long message was delightful reading your post!!! Wrote down the Beaches reference. Used to live Avenue Road/Heath after my husband died am braving it out in Downsview a new experience for me! Best wishes.

@@evelynbaron2004 Hi Evelyn. I’m so glad that you wrote back. I live I Richmond Hill. I’ve just bought Boom Sticks. They are a very fast way to just give yourself a little colour and moisture. You can get them online. I used to wear Mac too. Not now. I like to look nice and put together. I don’t want to spend a lot of time.
I have a husband. We have been together for 20 years and he is a good companion. We get along well. I do miss my women friendships. Between COVID and aging, I find that my lifelong friends have sort of disappeared. Aging, illness, moving away....

Hi Nikol I have ordered one or two of your products and RAVE about them. After a long process trying to not go crazy with skin care .. I lived in France for sometime and my mum's routine was vry much on point I used to do her makeup ... she was just a beautiful woman didn't need special skills!!! (I bought eye products from your on-line store) hoping this may help someone my skin care routine which is simple is as follows; ok 65 my Dad had olive skin; my skin is very fair but definitely that skin tone also combination skin. During Covid 19 yes I like to celebrate once in a while like you inspirational person that you are but I work from home so there are lots of no make up days and everyone will find their own way but after lots of different products trying to keep things simple: I use a foaming face wash Cerave could be one of them lots out there; if foundation this is sort of weird but works for me; Avene has what it advertises as a 3 in one whatever ... I love some of their products but it is frankly a balm lightly scented but doesn't stay on skin no ill-effects and it is fantastic for dislodging makeup eyes face and then do the double cleanse followed by moisturizer and the Neutrogena retinol which has never irritated skin. ******Here's where I am going to try your BB cream on those off days, will definitely visit store *** AM; I don;t wash my face. I splash water lightly pat use All Natural Advice Canadian product 20% vit C Hyarulonic Acid vit E available on Amazon probably lots of others; apply THE BEST sunscreen Vichy 50 ultralight goes on a perfect makeup primer matte but definitely the bomb. NO CAST broad spectrum and still moisturizing. We are all different but if this saves someone money or works for them, I've been through a spectrum and this is something I don't think about anymore .... I do once a week clay mask for exfoliating and that's it for face and moisturizer of course doesnt stop at face -- why I like Cerave peptides and h.acid when skin damp all good. Still looking for a good body scrub ... anyone out there with ideas? I LOVE This channel it has got me through the occasional doldrums during Covid 19 and Nikol, you are a gem!!!!! And our dogs would fall in love.

Thank you for explaining the difference between CC & BB creams but especially showing the CC creams. I had bought the it CC cream in light without being able to test it. I really dislike it because it is so heavy feeling on my skin and also very orangey on me also. I am like you that I don’t like the feeling of full coverage. I am 63 and grew up in Fla and did a lot of baking in the sun and I am paying for it now with lots of sun damaged skin. When the lockdown for the pandemic first started I started watching utube videos on skin and started my skin care journey to reverse some of my damage and also how to use makeup for older skin. So I have been really loving your videos geared towards older skin issues with makeup.
So thank you again and keep the videos coming.

For most of my life I’ve been more of a mascara and lip gloss gal unless there was an occasion to glam up. I find that dealing with maturing skin issues has been somewhat overwhelming due to all of the product choices. I love you videos as they take that feeling of overwhelm away. Thank you so much for the info on the difference between BB & CC creams 🤗
