share about the after sales exp, im looking for a triumph (speed twin or 765's) but the more i look, more people pointing me to be away from triumph and go for japanese bikes as there is a bad name for triump service (reliability, parts availability & people in there as well). how well is ur bike doing.
That's a genuine suggestion....😀 I've spoken a bit about this in the video. I've no acquaintance anymore either in the showroom or in the service station. That's the situation in Bengaluru atleast. I've heard that the service in other cities are better. Nobody can beat the Japanese in this dept. But there are good private superbike service stations around which one can make use of.
17:20 As mentioned in the video, it does heat up and seems a bit troublesome in city conditions even during the winters but I've been in traffic conditions quite some times on this bike and it is manageable especially in comparison to litre class sportsbikes. On the highways, not a problem. And once you are in love with the bike, you end up tolerating these niggles.... be it any bike for that matter 🙂
Hello Akshay, between bonneville t120 and scram (yours) what were your comparisons and why this and not other. please guide. I am planning to buy in bengaluru. and yet to decide which one. Unfortunately not much videos from india on these bikes
Hi Vikram! The Bonnie 120 is a proper retro bike and has a more relaxed riding position. It takes lesser gear shifts in city conditions compared to speed twin. But when it comes to outright performance, speed twin is very close to litre class sports bikes though not fully there! I've not tried it and will never do so but it can keep up with the three cylinder nakeds of Triumph. Speed Twin has the Thruxton genes. Bonnie is for relaxed cruising and will be comfortable for long distances. Speed Twin has a bit of a committed seating position not as much as a cafe racer but might become tiring for long rides. Depends on the rider really. And speed twin cannot be considered a scram as it doesn't have that ground clearance. I've tried the scrambler 900 in the city and if you want your bike to do city rides, scram 900 will roast your legs for sure! I chose the speed twin for the kind of riding experience and thrill that it provides on open stretches. And when I say thrill, it is not about high speeds for me (though it can do that) but the way it delivers power and doesn't max out! It is well suited for city rides too which was my requirement as I've mentioned in the video.
@@motravelerakshay Hey Akshay!! thanks for the detailed comparisons. I am more of a relaxed kind of rider and might go with Bonnie. My concern is the low ground clearance and how it would fare on the improper kinds of bumps. Yet to test ride one and check up on this
bro how much did this cost on road i wanted to know its pricing in bangalore/karnataka by the way u did nice job by reviewing this bike not many have done this especially speed 1200 but this bike is so good and very much underrated
Hello Akshay, I am looking to buy Speed Twin 1200. Living in Gujarat. I went to the showroom and they said, they don't provide test ride. I'd like to request your help with some questions that I have. Please let me know if we can get in touch :)
Yes. It can adjust to most conditions except offroading.... The ground clearance is good though when considered along with the wheelbase. A sumpguard is a must as we know some of the Indian humps can be problematic and I've faced that with this bike.

This is a very under rated beautiful BRIT machine.
Agree 💯 👍
Very apt review for a fantastic machine!
Thanks! 🙏
How’s the heat management? Considering 40 degrees of temperature and city traffic!

Heard that there's a new version coming out in 2025, so should the buyers wait for the newer one?
Yes. There are spyshots of both 900 and 1200 being upgraded in many aspects and they are expected in 2025 as per the rumours....
@@motravelerakshay will the trident also be upgraded or they just gonna let it be
@xgamershub No Idea yet

Just go for Triumph sump guard. It's good quality. You are bound to scrape the underbelly....

Close to 15L on road. Actual price depends on whether you opt for RSA, AMC, extended warranty, accessories etc.
Man dont put music , just talk and let us listen to that beautiful engine sound
Will try that next time bro!
Engine sound it is..... 🙂

@@motravelerakshay I drive hunter 350 now I know I have sumpground installed it junior speed twin.
Did you consider ninja 1000sx ?
Nope. I was looking for an agile retro modern with adequate power (to my liking) and city maneuverability along with highway fun.... 🙂
