i dont need a bottle opener because im a can guy, but i will soon own a bottle opener. so happy that i can support one of my favorite artisans
If you're ballsy enough you could use that bottle opener to open a can
Every tool is a hammer after all
And today’s sponsor is this up and coming blacksmith by the name of Timothy Dyck, he is selling three different types of axes and an original design bottle opener.
Just ordered my bottle opener. Next Friday I'm ordering the Axe (if not sold out). Love the videos. My favorite video is when you drove that car through the chain mail and it just kept on going. Best laugh of last year.
Awww...he called Jarritos "Jerry toes". I will think about that every time I drink it now. 😂
Lmao
😆
Just bought a 2 pack bottle openers. So glad to support. The channel rocks.
Got my double Ts in the mail today. Frickin' awesome... The weight and feel is fantastic. The grain structure and uniqueness, you can sense the energy that went into making them. Thanks
I have never clicked a link as quickly as just now. Can’t wait to man handle a bottle cap off a beer
I can't believe I messaged you about this the day your video was going live lol. You were not kidding about perfect timing!
PLEASE make more! I need one.👍🔥👍
You know what I have no idea why you don’t have more subscribers but you deserve way more than you have all the best
Dude I'm so stoked to have a piece of Tim steel.
Some might say a Hot piece of Tim
How wonderful, I've been waiting for something I can sell the wife on buying from you, thank you Tim! Just bought a double pack, what a steal and a great gift for a friend or brother.
I have never been so eager to find the link in the description before today. Ordered a double pack of the bottle openers, because I think they are so cool that I'll be giving one to a friend as a gift. A gift in thanks for guidance, friendship, and being a great human being in this world. He pushed me to start my own small business, I make vinyl decals, and so custom vinyl wraps. Thanks Tim for such great content!!!
Been torn on the 1908 hatchets, but this was easier, looking forward to getting it!
Nice product development, well done. It will double as a protection device.
Excellent interpersonal skill ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Got mine today. Can confirm: is steel. Heavy. 8/10 would recommend.
Just got my bottle opener today! This thing is so cool! Great artisan piece and works great. Beautiful and unique. Thanks for making this! It's been shown off to everyone I've encountered.
Hi Tim! Your bottle opener idea is very unique and brilliant. I had a great time watching this episode. And I watched everyday a cpl weeks ago when you uploaded everyday.
These bottle openers are sooooo awesome!!!! Looooove your show!!!
Yay maybe something I can afford. The axes are sweet though. Glad so many are able to get them.

I'm so happy to buy one of these. I have been waiting for an opportunity to buy something forged from you guys, but I'm stuck living in an apartment in a city for a couple years so I don't have much use for an axe.

I’m here late!!!! Another run of bottle openers please
Awesome
I was so happy to see this awesome project! I’m no axe man but I do drink stuff. However I was sad to see that shipping was 80 bucks to where I live 😭😭
🤣 I can't wait to put a 1 lb bottle opener in my backpack.... Just kidding boys. Looking good 👍💪
Merci bien !
One of those pieces that you used for the bottom to shape the bottle openers on the power hammer looks like a guacamole bowl or a pestle
Like a molcajete
Kick ass!
Wow! Thats a lot of steel for a bottle opener. Definitely an interesting take on it.
The weight, size and shape kind of hinder someone from sticking it in a pocket or on a belt loop and show it off by using it at a party though.
Hi Bro. It always a pleasure to look at your videos. You're one of the only one where I do not fast-forward the adds. Have you ever concider maing a set of Damascus kitchen knifes (3 knifes) I am sure they will sell like hot cakes...
- Syncerly
Lord Binyamin
I’ll buy all 100 !!
That's cool and if your diabetic it can also be a custom paper weight
or pop a tea light candle in it :D
is great but one question why not an oval shape it fits the palm of the hand better.
Thanx for sharing and love your vids great job
Make more!!!! and ship to the UK please, pretty please :-)
Love you bud and your products so I'm gonna help you out. Your Jarritos is pronounced "ha-ree-toes", it's Spanish for little bottle
You got any more little trinkets and tools you plan on making? Or is the main portion of time going to be the axes and then bits and bobs here and there like those awesome Bottle openers?
Yes another root beer man like myself. Lol. Yea buddy!!
God I love blacksmithing.
Me need too to make tool so me make tool from steel to shape other steel tool.
Now make a Damascus one!
They look like mushroom caps!
This video has really inspired me....to go get mango soda.
how do you use for your website trying to start one up for myself
hey mate, my son is almost 11 years old ,whats the starting off tools to get started.cheers Australia
Hammer, anvil, fire.
@@WmSrite-pi8ck the biggest chunk of metal that you can find is fine too, anvils are expensive.
Hi James, I’m in oz too. Best way to get started is to have a go at a short course (1-2 days). If you are on the east coast tharwa valley forge near canberra and the carriage works in Sydney are both bloody good. Also artisan supplies are the go to for gear. Lastly, Sydney knife show is on in August and it always has lots of blacksmith supplies. If in other states then they all have similar places to do courses. Hope this helps- cheers, Harry
Don't buy a bunch of stuff. If he likes it he'll make his own tools. Needs a hammer. Needs something to bang on (anvil) that doesn't move. Needs fire. Part of blacksmithing is making your own tools. Really, he needs to hit hot metal until he learns how it moves. He's 11, so he might not stick with it. Don't put a ton of money in it. If he really want to do it, he'll figure out what he can make and what he needs to buy. And, fortunately he can earn money with this hobby. If you really want to buy him something, buy him a welder. With a MIG welder an 11 year old can make anything that comes into his little head. And, realistically, welding is far more in demand as a skill that pays money. In fact, if he can weld, money will find him. If he really like working with metal, there really isn't a clear line between working with a welder and working with a coke-fire. It's all about adding and subtracting metal where you want it or need it. A welder will often do a limited amount of forging and a blacksmith will weld. Metal is a great medium to work with. It lasts forever and you can more or less make anything. As a bonus, he'll never starve. No matter what he grows up to do with his life, metalworking is a skill that you can use in every industry. Mostly, he'll learn how to manifest with his hands the things that are in his head. He'll look at the world in a new way and see how things are built and how he can build things.
But, he's 11, so in about 30 months he'll discover girls (or boys) and he might not stay with it. So, don't spend $2000 on stuff. A decent MIG welder will be useful to you and if not there will always be a market to buy it. I see them in pawn shops all the time here for $200 ish. Or you can buy him a cross-peen hammer and find a chunk of metal to use as an anvil. Other guy was right about the PPE. For sure, buy him some safety glasses (and make him wear them) and some sturdy leather boots. Kids outgrow shoes too fast to buy steel-toed boots at $150 a pair. But sturdy leather boots are fine. Need natural cotton or wool clothing. Nothing synthetic. Poly blends melt and stick to skin. Kinda like napalm. Pair of gloves. Maybe some pliers to grip hot stock. He can make his own tongs. Kind of a rite of passage for a smith. Maybe some coke to get a hot fire going, but even that isn't absolute. Mostly he need to hit hot metal with a hammer to get a feel for how metal moves.
@@WmSrite-pi8ck thanks, he has learning disability and he has no friends adhd and on spectrum, he in to rocks ect and said he like black smith make knives act.i understand to not go balls out buying equipment .i think i get welder for a start ,once he go to high school try metal shop .
Why not make threads on the inner lining so we can put this one something like a cane.
Do you have the bottle opener in titanium? 😆👍
Would look good in Damascus
Whomever is lucky enough to snap up one of those 1908HB axes has just baught themselves a heirloom. Every time I see one.....jeez.
Are there any other bottle opener available?
✅
Hi will you ship this bottle opener to the UK please??
👍🤙
Hey Tim, I enjoy your work and channel. Would like to support but Shipping to Europe (EU) at 80 dollars is a bit much. Is there any way you can partner with someone in the EU to get the shipping cost down? Cheers.
They'll sell like hotcakes!
😁👍🏼
Hey Tim can you make a knife or ax or something I can review on my channel I'm getting ready to get back to work thanks
For the algorithm
Haritos 😅
Yeah you need to get a pending patent on that opener
I'd like to support you and buy the bottle opener, but in my country for 35 $ i buy food for 2 weeks😅 maybe make it cheaper?
Well if you are a proper trained german, basicly every sturdy enough objekt can be a bottle opener, even just another bottle. A fun trick is opening a bottle with a sheet of paper. (if you fold it correct it works)
JARRITOS ARE TWIST OFF!!!
😅😅😅😅
What?............ dang he's not talking to me.
now make one out of bottle caps
А мы тут всё плюшками балуемся...
$120 for international ship :O
I got all excited to buy one, but was then hit with shipping cost. Shame shipping is $80 to AUS :( I'd love one but 115 is a lot for a bottle opener :/
Sadly, I think 80$ shipping is just too much. But I get it is due to the weight and because it is a long way to Germany.
Really? Compared to how much Tim moved it around inside the workshop for his $35 - $80 to move it the rest of the way to my house in England seemed quite reasonable to me. Can’t wait to open a beer with it, cheers 🍻
@@locohombre79 generally I agree with you. It really does come at a really great price point especially considering the development and time ist took to figure out the perfect shape
Whar- eeee- toes.
Give 20 away for free ask to do review from those who you give them to they will share and share alike I’m sure of it.
Give a little get a lot 👊😀I like it. 👍
Buy all three axes get bottle opener free..😎😎
Deal! :P
You know... this bottle opener could be used for self defense in a pinch.
Could definitely end a foe rightly!
