FYI you can absolutely wash your canvas ballet slippers. All you need to do is pop them in the washer for a cycle and then lay them flat to dry.
ah! thanks:) I do like it too. I recall washing an older pair and they never felt the same. I may try it again with this pair.

Great review! The ball of the foot padding on your Hanamis look a tad bigger than mine, so I wonder if Capezio did a revamp since last year! I’ll have to order a new pair and check it out! Thank you for sharing!! - Jana

Thank you for that i have the same shoes but both pink. Like you i did find the padding of Capezio's a bit annoying. Did it get better with time? I do find the Bloch more comfortable despite the lack of insoles. Do you always wear them barefoot?
How many sizes up from your street shoe size did you buy in the Hanami? I am an adult beginner so have no idea how the shoes should fit. I bought a 1/2 size bigger than my street shoe size and they feel very uncomfortable.
That’s what I’m trying to figure out too. The site says to buy 1-2 sizes above street size but I’m worried I’ll end up with clown shoes
