Thank you my, Vee!!! Happy Saturday to you. I have to tell you that your words "never dim your light for another" had a huge impact on me recently. I was doing just that. I had your playlist on while I was cleaning, and I heard you say that. I thought to myself, "now how long have you been hearing that? So, why are you doing it?" Thank you, my friend. Sometimes we need to be brought back to our senses. Enjoy your day!!!
Hi beautiful, I do see the residue & that is great the paste stays on. 😂 At using a makeup brush. The leaf on that first plant is beautiful. I love the plant shelf you have in your bedroom. Cedar oil. I learned something new. I only have 2 real plants. I don’t have a green thumb so they always die so I just maintain the 2 I have bc I have had them for years. 😂
Hi Rachael 👋🏼 I have that same bag of diatomaceous stuff, lol. I was told to use the food grade type, is that what you/we have? Thanks for demonstrating.
Thank you, Regina!!! I wish I could put all of my plants in rocks. The plant has to have water roots and not soil roots to live happily in semi hydro or rocks. All plants can do be put in rocks, but the changeover can be the issue. When they live in rocks you reduce the chances of overwatering and gnats. The roots seem to thrive in semi hydro because they can grow so freely.
Hey Jackie!!!!! I'm adding it to my next soil mix! 😊 I think that this may be the white residue on leaves that are in most plant nurseries. all you need is a light layer and that's it. I like to mix it is large containers so that I don't have to go through the mixing process often. I don't want this anywhere near my lungs. Thank you for watching!! Happy Saturday!
Hi Rachael. How ironic is it that I’ve been researching Diatomaceous earth last couple of days 😅 It is soooo good for pests and human and animal health, for plants it’s a different type for humans and pets it’s a food grade one. I can tell you know a lot about it,it’s very dangerous to breathe it in. Was wondering if it can be made into a spray and you answered that. I’m looking at ordering some online. You look gorgeous as always and ❤ your head scarf. You look like a goddess. Always love your videos 💚💚 Natalie from Australia 🇦🇺
Hi Natalie!!!!! I have been researching this product as well. It is terrible if you breathe it in. The paste really sticks to the plant leaves. I do not have to reapply for a long time. It has been working great. It is just the mixing process that makes me nervous. Normally I mix it outside to prevent the chances of getting it into my lungs. I will get the food grade product for future applications. I dust a little on my pet beds to keep buggies off of my pets. I am always so happy to hear from you. Enjoy your beautiful summer weather!!!!!
@ I read it does wonder for fleas on pets as well, but have to be very careful with rubbing the powder into their coat so it doesn’t get in the lungs.. it has so many wonderful uses. Yes it’s getting warmer by the day, doing lots of repotting.cuttings and fertilizing. Take care. 💚
@pudik2008 us is terrible for their lungs as well. I still use the wet spray to put it on their bed. I don't want the babies getting sick. Enjoy your growing season!
Seeing new leaves is the best! Thanks for sharing your pest prevention and bedroom plants!
Beautiful ❤

@planttherapy1860 hi Mona! no, this is not the food grade. I am trying to get through this bag before I get the food grade bag.
@lotsofpots.Rachael oh okay...
Great care ideas,🫶🏽🌱
Hi! I’ve already wondered… what determines whether you put a plant in soil or rocks?
I love your head wrap. 😉

Very informative with demonstration to match. Thanks for sharing Rachael. 💚
@@naturalroots hi Lisa! Thank you so much😊
Great idea with the diatomaceous earth it is also very good to sprinkle on the top of soil or mix into any soil mix.

How are you getting so many pests? I have yet to get a single pest. Granted, I refuse to put my plants outside and bring back in so that may be why.
Good morning. I don't have pest. I use this as a pest prevention. I don't even have gnats. I just want to keep it that way.
Our plants are survivors 😅
@@planttherapy1860 they really are. I still can't believe I watered my Anthurium with that cleaning water. It smelled awful! It's holding on.
