Back when I did it in my 71 Chevelle, it wasn't quite as organized, the red light racer!! Pedal to the metal and hope the cops don't see! Raced for a 12pack! Big money! ✌😁

I've followed you and Tony for yrs but hearing what you've been through and the fact you didn't give up when you had every excuse to, put my respect and admiration for you on a whole other level. You really are an amazing person, Tony too. Glad to have you guys back, hope you stick with making content, you did a great job on the video, thank you.

I just can't help but to fall in 💘 with yall as a couple 💕, a team and a family of racers , I've watched you both from day 1 when bill introduced yall to the world and have grown to admire all you bring to us, just watching the smile from tess shows just how much she is in love with the whole concept and ideas you both bringing and the reactions and mode he represents showing off and playing around just let's us know he is a real genuine person deep to the core within within. Both you has so much to offer the world here and you just don't meet many as u nowadays, we've all lived loved and lost so much and so many along our way to where when opportunity of a friendship and family is real I'm grateful. Thank you guys and thank you bill and the Hoskinson Family, we are greatful and thankful.

Im sure Billy is proud of the car. Ran in the tens in a quarter. For me thats fast. the 351 makes good torque. The heavier drive shaft got it of without the hop. Clutch to gas pedal timing so good. I love the small block ford. Fun to drive. I aint been in a racecar since like 1989, but i started in like 1974. Was helping rebuild sbc at 12 yrs old . Where im from thats not unusual. Macon Illinois. Love yall

We bought it together, but I’m no dummy and I know we have a better chance at winning races with him behind the wheel 😂 I’m still learning how to race a stick shift car, but this thing will be perfect for practice.

I have a very serious & sensible suggestion for you two to consider for the white Mustang. Have you ever considered running a Lenco 5-speed trans? It can (I know from years of personal experience) totally erase the huge advantage that an automatic trans has over any other, normal, manual transmission, regarding shift times, efficiency & durability. They are almost bulletproof! I truly believe it could be the missing piece that would complete your Mustang's "puzzle".
I think y'all are terrific & like the chemistry that you have w/the Hoskinsons (SRC, OMG & G2G).

Billy jumped in it and ran a 10.7 on either his first or second pass on the car. A little chassis work, slicks vs the radial and a medium shot of nitrous and this thing will deep in the 9’s and possibly the 8’s.

FINALLY a new video !! I've been hoping things were ok after the crash, but a little worried until now. I follow SRC very closely and have seen you guys recently, but this latest step makes me happy ! Nothing against Molly for sure, but now that true Ford people have it I'm sure it'll really start to shine. As Tony said, it's maybe not a "race car", but definitely a stout little street car. Can't wait to see you bangin' through the gears and kickin' ass in it too Tess ☺. Nothing I enjoy more than a pretty girl in a Ford taking it to the GM guys !!
I was definitely a bit messed up after the crash, both physically and mentally. Still trying to get in the right mindset to be behind the wheel, but I’m making progress.
@@MissMidnightMaverick Yeah, that "getting back on the horse" scenario, I get it. My feeling is if you gradually get back into it again (the new car is perfect for that) you'll be ok. I think that's probably your thought too ? I commented on, I think it was The Old Man's channel, that nobody wants to see you mess up that pretty face !! I'm 73 now and still living in N.H., but I street raced my ass off back in the late 60's and 70's in my Fords, some homemade and a couple of factory ones. My fastest factory was my '69 Mach 1, 428 SCJ, and it was basically stock because it was my only car. Got 4 "class winner" stickers at New England Dragway running B bracket back in '73. Love that shit !! So good luck in your future endeavers and I'm a subscriber so I won't miss any of it !!

Just taking a look at Miss Mav's older videos. Somehow I missed this one. It was fun to see Tony drive that little Mustang the way Billy built it to be driven. We remember watching videos of Billy putting the motor together way back then. It RUNS like a scaulded dog Son! 🙂

It had all the right stuff just nobody could drive it.
Seems like you have a good start with the Mustang that thing was Rolling, glad on Ford content back in the late 70's I knew a guy that ran a Maverick with a Boss 302 engine 4 speed 3.91 gear 9 in that thing would move just the look of the Maverick. I'm still running Mustang's , good luck both of you..

In such a short time frame a few minor adjustments and You Guys cleaned that vehicle up really nice. It ran really smooth on all its passes. Nice.
