Mhm, I agree, definitely happy Adrienne drives, now. And loooove seeing her glowing, mommy , being a mother she is , she wear very well, as well as being a sexy momma.
I just got my license at 31, and I'm currently saving up for my first car. I'm so proud of you Adrienne! You are such an inspiration. My God continue to bless you. ❤
There is no age limit on getting your license. Do things whenever you feel that you are ready. If I have learned anything at all about living with humans is that we all do things in our own time.
I got my license at 28. I was so nervous to drive to work every morning that I would take the long way, on streets instead of jumping on the freeway for a few months. Till I worked one morning on a holiday weekend. I noticed there were barely any cars on the road. I pumped myself up, & it was go time! I was so proud of myself. I am now 36 and enjoy listening to podcasts on the road 😊
LOVE THIS!!! Bougie on a budget! I love that Adrienne is so down to earth and smart about her money. Ain't nothing wrong with a used car. I just love the humbleness
My first car was when I was 35 almost 11 months ago. I knew how to drive just never bought myself a car. Now I drive a Toyota RAV4 Hybrd because I drive a lot and this girl needs to try to save some gas money. LOL, but I amm so happy to see you Adrienne driving and loving your car as much as I love mine. It makes me feel like a little grown up.
I got my license at 21, had a brand new car and lost it within a year 😔 haven’t owned a car since out of fear but am now feeling ready. This definitely inspires me! (And I’m 32 so no judgement on age!)
Wishing you all the good vibes!! Get that car!!! Things happen but that doesn’t mean we should give up, and u already got the license so u know what ur doing🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
I was 16 when I got my license and I think a few months later got my first car. Proud of you for getting your first car and driving. Your truly blessed.
I got my license at 16. My first car at 14.5 My grandma got her license at 44 years old My parents paid for her to get driving lessons She went and bought a brand new fully loaded Cadillac She looked so cute She also was and still is a perfect driver 🥰✨💕
I'm 52 just have had my license for 1 year this past Aug so you are fine. So proud of you I understand. I still have parking and freeway anxiety but I am working on it. Still haven't gotten my first car on my own husband and I have a car together. You should name the car Midnight.
Same here Adrienne, got my license last May and I’m still learning how to do certain things or manage how others criticize me on my driving lol welcome to the license club!!
Yes Adrienne, I love your Range Rover. It totally fits you. Loved your walk-around on the car. Those little tweeters on the backdoor are a great touch, also the brake calipers really pop. Drive safe out there! Take care
Congrats Adrienne! I’m glad you shared this journey with us and a win is a win no matter how old you are or how long it took for the personal achievement. I got my license and first car at 25 years old. I was married and my son was 2 and going to daycare and I was back working. I got tired of getting driven around and waiting for my husband 🤣Growing up in Cleveland I never needed a reason to hurry and get a license because of the public transportation system however when I moved to the Nashville and had a child and a husband I started to see how I needed a license more and more🤣 Anywho everyone’s journey, needs and reasons differ but it’s never too late to take pride in your personal achievements. So happy for you! Driving is like a form of personal freedom.
I think your SUV could be named "Queen Rover" or "Reina Rover." I knew someone who named their car Betsy Mae. But it was a hooptie. It rarely cranked up on the first try, the a/c didn't work and only one door would lock. So it was more of a struggle situation. Lol. Congratulations Adrienne on getting your license and a SUV! 🥳🎉
My 1st car at 16yrs old was a stick shift Volkswagen Jetta. Funny, I'm not sure if I can drive a stick now. I think "Black Pearl" would be a great name for Adrienne's car bc it looks like a black pearl. It's very sophisticated & elegant but strong & durable. Congrats on everything Adrienne! I'm so happy for you! ❤
So happy for you no matter what age you are, you've accomplished so much in life. This was an overdue blessing for you, may many more blessings come your way 😍😘
I got my drivers license at 23 years old, I failed the test 3 times before finally getting it. I haven’t driven in years so I need to be refreshed but I do want my first car to be a Kia niro.
Being a Californian, I was first taught to drive by my Mom at around age 13, on the back roads of the Central Coast of CA and the HUGE regional airport parking lot. Back in the day, drivers ed. was part of our high school curriculum. We had the driver "simulator" trailer's and, after passing that portion of the training, we hit the road in some really snazzy cars, with the instructors. Got my permit at 15.5 and my first license at 16. Been a bad ass driver ever since! Fast forward....My Mom-in-law back in Chicago would only let ME drive her around in her prized car cause, I'm that good!!! She was amazed that I learned the layout of that big city and didn't grow up there.😁🚗🚗
I think the reason for the car sickness in passengers is that the driver can see the terrain of the road, every turn, hill bump etc so it registers mentally that you're going to hit and maybe prepares you physically to brace for it, however passengers aren't paying attention to the road so the unexpected change in the smoothness, speed, etc causes discomfort because they aren't prepared. But I know I personally just didn't like riding in cars closer to the ground, so I would try to remember to bring lemon water to calm my stomach until I got used to it.
I’m all about that good PLAYLIST!!! I gotta set up my vibe especially when dealing with Houston traffic. I had a college degree before my driving license. I was 23 or 24 when I got my license and 26 when I got my first car. Congratulations and ENJOY every BLESSING. XO
Passenger Talk is amazing! You can be the driver and hear people talk that are sitting in the very back through the speakers. Very nice car Adrienne! Congrats!
Adrienne you really have come full circle in your life❤ From Cheetah girls to the real I've been a fan and I have truly enjoyed watching you on your journey. May God continue to bless you and your beautiful family #MuchLuv
The title is irresistible clicked immediately LOL ❤️❤️🎉✨ love this so much for Adrienne she’s a driving mami 🚘 (I’m 5ft and everyone also says I ride too close to the wheel too, I also use a car vacuum so you’re not alone 😭❤️) p.s. your gospel music taste is impeccable 🙌🏽✨
Sometimes people are trying to signal that something is going on that they can see from behind that you might not have noticed. But, I definitely would have done the same and not turned where I live until that other car passed. Glad you weren’t alone and arrived safely with your baby 😍
Got my license at 16 (I was adamant about passing the drivers test on the first try and did 😅) and my parents gifted me a car at 17 which I still drive now at 24! I named it Gladys after Gladys Knight just for funsies lolol Would be cool if you decked your car out with lights under the seats and dashboard!
Tip for motion sickness in cars : Put a penny at the bottom of each of your shoes (before getting in the car). Worked for me as a child, until I grew out of it. Good luck! 🙏🏽
Back in 2008 when I was 23 years old that’s when I started learning how to drive my auntie had realize she’s doesn’t like me taking public transportation at night coming home from basketball practice at the time, following year in 2009 at age of 24 I had failed my drivers test 3 times due to i didn’t know how to parallel parking, eventually I finally past and just 3 months later my auntie gave me a black 2004 Chevy Tahoe I definitely love it and i gave my auntie a big huge hug for buying my first new vehicle and Adrienne if you do read my comment let this be a good inspirational story for you since you started driving in your mid 30’s, I’m very proud of you I hope you enjoy your Range Rover it’s absolutely awesome and fully loaded. 😊
Girl!! I've been driving for exactly a month now at 28 and I do exactly the same. I put the navigator on, my music first, I make sure to choose my lane with time if I know there's an exit I need to take, I keep my new car extra clean, wash it weekly, etc. 🤍🎉
Hello Adrienne! You were an inspiration for me to get my license this year, at 32 years old. I bought my first car a few weeks after that and I love it. I completely understand your enthusiasm about Black Betty. Congratulations! 🎉
Oh Adrian...so proud of you. I almost gave up on driving years ago and i am glad i did not. Listen I only started using drive thrus because of the pandemic. And my poor rims get scratched every now and then, My dad and husband makes fun of me but Im like whatever at least i dont get tickets or get into accidents. So do you and ENJOY driving, i totally do!
I know this because my Dad is a mechanic. Besides damaging the look of your wheels you need to know that you are grinding off or shaving material off which over time will throw off the balance of the wheels so you would need to get your tires balanced and aligned. Also, sitting too close to the wheel is more dangerous if you were to get into an accident but you are also short so I don't think you can be too far from it lol
Alsoooo I used to drive that close to my steering wheel but someone told me that I could be dangerously close to the airbag if it ever were to deploy, I still sit close but I lean my seat back!
I got my permit at 17 and did not want to be that person that had a license without a car. Got my first car at 27, an Infiniti Q50, not my dream car but I am so grateful. So, so, grateful to have my own whip. No more waiting for trains and buses and walking in terrible weather. No more cabs or feeling uncomfortable even when friends and family ask if I need a ride. God is awesome. Got my license two months after i got my car. But my dream car is actually what Adrienne’s driving and we’re both 4’11. So happy for her 💛💛💛🥰
Congrats on your license! It'a definitely overwhelming at first. I am also car sick whenever I am not in the front. BTW - definitely lower the steering wheel and lean the back further! It'll feel most natural and is safer in case anything happens :)
It’s me just patiently waiting for Adrienne to drop her Blazer/ Women Suits line. She mentioned a new business for her vision board video so I think it’s that. This leather vibe is amazing ❤
Look at you driving! Okay, you got your license!!!!! I remember that episode of the real where they were trying to teach you how to drive. They had those orange cones set up in a lot.
I have no idea why, but more recently in my 30s, I’ve started getting nauseous when I’m in an Uber. But when my bf drives or when I’m driving, I’m totally fine. I think it’s just trusting a total stranger with your whole life that I hate 😂
I’ve loved and followed you since your 3LW days. I’m so thankful you are still around and I love your UA-cam videos. You are such a wonderful woman, and I’m so glad you exist ❤❤❤❤❤
I’m 31, and my driving journey just started this year. I actually did things backwards 😅 I got my car in April, was able to find affordable insurance in July and finessed the company into giving me the insurance without a license 🤭, and then I took my driver’s test in August and passed. I drove without a license for over three months. Risky but it was worth it, because I was able to teach myself without anyone nagging at me and got over my anxiety in the process as well.
Adrienne, try the stand up febreeze pods. Promise they will have your car smelling like clean laundry! Also I think it’s funny many of us scrape our rims 😂😂😂
They had road rage and was trying to intimidate you Adrienne. The same happened to me, except I was driving on the expressway in Atlanta, going a little above the speed limit in the fast lane. Apparently I wasn’t going fast enough for one driver. Instead of them going around me, they sped up and got in front of me and slammed on breaks on the expressway! They deliberately tried to make me hit them from behind. They didn’t care that they might be injured, they wanted to injure me. When I safely moved on around them, they followed behind me for a good while. Probably the scariest experience I’ve had driving. I love the car! I don’t blame you for the excitement!
I'm from Houston usually the fast lane you have to drive 80 and up. When I see someone driving up fast I move out the way and then get back where I was just safer that way or just stay out the fast lane. I know I can't match they're speed or want to risk it. I had a car drive past me so fast I couldn't even see what kinda car it was and I was driving 70 so that tells you enough it's wild out here.
I got my license at 17 my dad bought me my first car about 6 months after it was a brand new Mazda CX-7 I loved that suv so much. I had it until I was 29 when the engine or transmission went out. I wasn’t paying to find out what was wrong with it. It had 224,000 miles on it. Soooo many memories in that car.
Well deserved, congrats on your beautiful dream car!! I got my license at 17 and my aunt gave me her 1999 Pontiac Sunfire! I am now 35 and my husband bought me my dream mom car!! So now I drive Black Pearl the black Tahoe and it’s absolutely beautiful and perfect for me and my fam!! I got my emblems painted so now I stand out on the road and I love it
You could get the lights under your SUV! Like the cool purplie black lightie color! That'd pop with the black of Black Betty! Go head girl! I'm so proud of you for getting your license! Congratulations 💕🙏🏻
Thank you for showing us your car and congratulations on having the wonderful 👍👍👍👍 car you have always wanted it's just great 👍 news 💜🌈🤗❤️🌺💛🦋💫💜🌈🤗❤️🌺💛🦋💛💫
Another NYC girl here who got her license at 21 and saved all my coins to get my first used car at that same age too. Prior to that was taking public trans to LI for school 5 days a week. If that weren’t the case, God knows when I would have gotten my license. A lot of us get it late here, compared to other regions where 16/17 the process starts. & good choice not fixing the rims just yet! Your skill will build over time so a few boo boos may come. I’m talking side swiped a whole car attempting to parallel park in the beginning for me! 🙃 9 years later I’m swerving into these tight spots like nothing 💅🏼 Love the hair color, esp for upcoming fall btw🧡
I get the excitement about a new car. I'm from NYC too and you know no one had a car, and if you did it was a big deal! I got my license at 27 and my first car at 30.
Proud of your journey to getting your license to drive I'm still working on both my daughter's getting their's. They are 15th and 20. I got my license at 20 years old bc I need to drive myself to work and take my oldest to daycare. Motherhood makes you grow up fast.
I love your car I’m so proud of you for getting your license I’ve passed my permit several times and still haven’t gotten my license I have to stop being afraid but I see so many reckless drivers on these NYC highways and they make me extremely nervous but I’m going to do it besitos ❤
NOTHING wrong with getting your license at 39. Being from CALI, most of us get our DL at 16 or 17 . I got mine at 16 . I was not wasting time. Haha. LOVE the MATTE BLACK ! Enjoy driving ADRIENNE ❤
Remembering that episode on The Real when Adrienne was learning how to drive😂❤, I'm so happy to see her driving herself....
I'm still not over the fact that she drives now, I love it!!
@@chrisastacio-felix4115 I love it too💗😘
Facts! 🤩
Mhm, I agree, definitely happy Adrienne drives, now. And loooove seeing her glowing, mommy , being a mother she is , she wear very well, as well as being a sexy momma.
That's the first thing I thought of. Clicking this video.
I just got my license at 31, and I'm currently saving up for my first car. I'm so proud of you Adrienne! You are such an inspiration. My God continue to bless you. ❤
That’s soo awesome! I’m 29 I take my road test on the 15th !

I was 27 when I got mine.
Don’t let anyone tell y’all otherwise. I got my license at 26. It is NEVER too late to learn. Y’all got this!
I got my license at 28. I was so nervous to drive to work every morning that I would take the long way, on streets instead of jumping on the freeway for a few months. So relatable! I'll be 28 soon and finally taking the leap to get my licence. I'm excited for the experience 💃🏽
Got my license at 20, and recently my own car at 25. Everyone has there own little path, and your car looks amazing ❤
LOVE THIS!!! Bougie on a budget! I love that Adrienne is so down to earth and smart about her money. Ain't nothing wrong with a used car. I just love the humbleness
I'm 40 and don't drive. I'm happy you got your license, Adrienne. Your car is nice. Stay safe.
My mother is 60 and never drove
I don't drive either lol my husband drives me everywhere
My first car was when I was 35 almost 11 months ago. I knew how to drive just never bought myself a car. Now I drive a Toyota RAV4 Hybrd because I drive a lot and this girl needs to try to save some gas money. LOL, but I amm so happy to see you Adrienne driving and loving your car as much as I love mine. It makes me feel like a little grown up.
I didn’t get my license and car until I was 49 during the pandemic. Congrats on stepping out.
👏🏻
Adrienne get some pedal extenders. If your airbag ever goes off it could be bad with how close you are to the steering wheel. Love the car!
I got my license at 21, had a brand new car and lost it within a year 😔 haven’t owned a car since out of fear but am now feeling ready. This definitely inspires me! (And I’m 32 so no judgement on age!)

Fist of all, I have to say I’m super proud of you Adrienne for getting your driver’s license and getting your own car and driving around. 🎉

You can really tell how little she is for how far up the chair is 😂❤
Motherhood is your best look! Look at you driving like a beautiful mama!

You should have moved to the slow lane duh
I'm from Houston usually the fast lane you have to drive 80 and up. When I see someone driving up fast I move out the way and then get back where I was just safer that way or just stay out the fast lane. I know I can't match they're speed or want to risk it. I had a car drive past me so fast I couldn't even see what kinda car it was and I was driving 70 so that tells you enough it's wild out here.
Love your mom car!! Super cute and chic Black Betty 🖤
Loved this video!
So down to earth. Maybe black mamba???
OOoo I love a seat massager feature!!🥰🥰☺☺
I got my emblems painted so now I stand out on the road and I love it
The seat being all the way up 😂😂😫 our short queennn
You could get the lights under your SUV! Like the cool purplie black lightie color! That'd pop with the black of Black Betty!
Go head girl! I'm so proud of you for getting your license! Congratulations 💕🙏🏻
Those lights are illegal in some places.
@@bren7067 oh good point 😜
I got range too Adrienne. I would listen to Kirk Franklin all the way to Kenny G. From The Diplomats all the way to Aaliyah
9 years later I’m swerving into these tight spots like nothing 💅🏼
Love the hair color, esp for upcoming fall btw🧡
I get the excitement about a new car. I'm from NYC too and you know no one had a car, and if you did it was a big deal! I got my license at 27 and my first car at 30.
Can’t wait to watch with a snack! Happy Friday 🎉❤
I got my drivers license at 16, and first car at 18. I was pressed!😂😂😂 I’ve had 7 cars and been driving ever since. Congratulations!!!🍾 ❤
Thank you so much A ,this makes me excited to get my learners and buy my dream car.
Hi Adrienne i'm ready to watch another exciting episode!! I always enjoy you posting every friday!!! 💖
I see you Mama! Love the matte black ❤
For the next step up car seat try the Nuna Revv Rotating! Comes in all black 👌🏾
Happy for u! It seems like a great car ! ❤
I think you should change the interior color to all black (change the beige to black)
And Black panther would be a 🔥 car name lol
It’s actually not safe to drive that close to the wheel in the event of an accident 😬😬 love the car!
Proud of your journey to getting your license to drive I'm still working on both my daughter's getting their's. They are 15th and 20. I got my license at 20 years old bc I need to drive myself to work and take my oldest to daycare. Motherhood makes you grow up fast.
Black Betty is a hot name
Literally my dream car 😍 i love it and the color
I love your car I’m so proud of you for getting your license I’ve passed my permit several times and still haven’t gotten my license I have to stop being afraid but I see so many reckless drivers on these NYC highways and they make me extremely nervous but I’m going to do it besitos ❤
Congratulations on your new car. Love the Name Black Betty!!❤

NOTHING wrong with getting your license at 39.
Being from CALI, most of us get our DL at 16 or 17 . I got mine at 16 . I was not wasting time. Haha.
