Mhm, I agree, definitely happy Adrienne drives, now. And loooove seeing her glowing, mommy , being a mother she is , she wear very well, as well as being a sexy momma.
I just got my license at 31, and I'm currently saving up for my first car. I'm so proud of you Adrienne! You are such an inspiration. My God continue to bless you. ❤
There is no age limit on getting your license. Do things whenever you feel that you are ready. If I have learned anything at all about living with humans is that we all do things in our own time.
LOVE THIS!!! Bougie on a budget! I love that Adrienne is so down to earth and smart about her money. Ain't nothing wrong with a used car. I just love the humbleness
I got my license at 28. I was so nervous to drive to work every morning that I would take the long way, on streets instead of jumping on the freeway for a few months. Till I worked one morning on a holiday weekend. I noticed there were barely any cars on the road. I pumped myself up, & it was go time! I was so proud of myself. I am now 36 and enjoy listening to podcasts on the road 😊
I got my license at 21, had a brand new car and lost it within a year 😔 haven’t owned a car since out of fear but am now feeling ready. This definitely inspires me! (And I’m 32 so no judgement on age!)
Wishing you all the good vibes!! Get that car!!! Things happen but that doesn’t mean we should give up, and u already got the license so u know what ur doing🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
I got my license at 16. My first car at 14.5 My grandma got her license at 44 years old My parents paid for her to get driving lessons She went and bought a brand new fully loaded Cadillac She looked so cute She also was and still is a perfect driver 🥰✨💕
My first car was when I was 35 almost 11 months ago. I knew how to drive just never bought myself a car. Now I drive a Toyota RAV4 Hybrd because I drive a lot and this girl needs to try to save some gas money. LOL, but I amm so happy to see you Adrienne driving and loving your car as much as I love mine. It makes me feel like a little grown up.
I'm 52 just have had my license for 1 year this past Aug so you are fine. So proud of you I understand. I still have parking and freeway anxiety but I am working on it. Still haven't gotten my first car on my own husband and I have a car together. You should name the car Midnight.
I think your SUV could be named "Queen Rover" or "Reina Rover." I knew someone who named their car Betsy Mae. But it was a hooptie. It rarely cranked up on the first try, the a/c didn't work and only one door would lock. So it was more of a struggle situation. Lol. Congratulations Adrienne on getting your license and a SUV! 🥳🎉
Yes Adrienne, I love your Range Rover. It totally fits you. Loved your walk-around on the car. Those little tweeters on the backdoor are a great touch, also the brake calipers really pop. Drive safe out there! Take care
I got my drivers license at 23 years old, I failed the test 3 times before finally getting it. I haven’t driven in years so I need to be refreshed but I do want my first car to be a Kia niro.
Same here Adrienne, got my license last May and I’m still learning how to do certain things or manage how others criticize me on my driving lol welcome to the license club!!
The title is irresistible clicked immediately LOL ❤️❤️🎉✨ love this so much for Adrienne she’s a driving mami 🚘 (I’m 5ft and everyone also says I ride too close to the wheel too, I also use a car vacuum so you’re not alone 😭❤️) p.s. your gospel music taste is impeccable 🙌🏽✨
So happy for you no matter what age you are, you've accomplished so much in life. This was an overdue blessing for you, may many more blessings come your way 😍😘
Congrats Adrienne! I’m glad you shared this journey with us and a win is a win no matter how old you are or how long it took for the personal achievement. I got my license and first car at 25 years old. I was married and my son was 2 and going to daycare and I was back working. I got tired of getting driven around and waiting for my husband 🤣Growing up in Cleveland I never needed a reason to hurry and get a license because of the public transportation system however when I moved to the Nashville and had a child and a husband I started to see how I needed a license more and more🤣 Anywho everyone’s journey, needs and reasons differ but it’s never too late to take pride in your personal achievements. So happy for you! Driving is like a form of personal freedom.
I was 16 when I got my license and I think a few months later got my first car. Proud of you for getting your first car and driving. Your truly blessed.
Got my license at 16 (I was adamant about passing the drivers test on the first try and did 😅) and my parents gifted me a car at 17 which I still drive now at 24! I named it Gladys after Gladys Knight just for funsies lolol Would be cool if you decked your car out with lights under the seats and dashboard!
1:08 She says safety first, but driving too close to the wheel is unsafe if you get into a car accident and the airbag goes off. The pressure of the airbag can cause serious injuries. Even if you are a safe driver, things can happen.
I was about to write this. This is not safe. You can tell how even turning the wheel for her looks uncomfortable. If anything she needs to move back a little and get a booster pillow (if she can still reach comfortably the pedals).
Don’t have my driver license and I’m 29 yrs old. My siblings are telling me that u need to drive. But honestly I’m not ready to drive. But I need to get my butt in to gear to start working on my license.
I think the reason for the car sickness in passengers is that the driver can see the terrain of the road, every turn, hill bump etc so it registers mentally that you're going to hit and maybe prepares you physically to brace for it, however passengers aren't paying attention to the road so the unexpected change in the smoothness, speed, etc causes discomfort because they aren't prepared. But I know I personally just didn't like riding in cars closer to the ground, so I would try to remember to bring lemon water to calm my stomach until I got used to it.
Alsoooo I used to drive that close to my steering wheel but someone told me that I could be dangerously close to the airbag if it ever were to deploy, I still sit close but I lean my seat back!
Adrienne you really have come full circle in your life❤ From Cheetah girls to the real I've been a fan and I have truly enjoyed watching you on your journey. May God continue to bless you and your beautiful family #MuchLuv
Oh Adrian...so proud of you. I almost gave up on driving years ago and i am glad i did not. Listen I only started using drive thrus because of the pandemic. And my poor rims get scratched every now and then, My dad and husband makes fun of me but Im like whatever at least i dont get tickets or get into accidents. So do you and ENJOY driving, i totally do!
When someone is doing that with their high beams, just turn somewhere else that is not your destination or home, and let them pass you. Proving a point is not worth it in these days.
You should totally get a custom black and yellow license plate, maybe it could say the following: “Besos”, “S/O LES”, “KPNITRL (keeping it real)”, or “CHTALICOUS (cheetahlicious)” 🔥🔥
These new super bright headlights are so dangerous to me! Whether coming at you or someone behind you I get so nervous driving at night, can't see a thing with those bright lights!
It’s me just patiently waiting for Adrienne to drop her Blazer/ Women Suits line. She mentioned a new business for her vision board video so I think it’s that. This leather vibe is amazing ❤
Being too close to the steering wheel is actually very dangerous. If you were to get into an accident, the air bags would severely injure you due to the pressure from the bags being ejecting. You should be at almost arm’s length with a slight bend in the elbow.
Just saw your trunk: those organizers are so good for having extras for the kids and not have to always bring a bag for them. I keep snack, a change of clothes, wipes, etc it’s so handy!!
Tip for motion sickness in cars : Put a penny at the bottom of each of your shoes (before getting in the car). Worked for me as a child, until I grew out of it. Good luck! 🙏🏽
Being a Californian, I was first taught to drive by my Mom at around age 13, on the back roads of the Central Coast of CA and the HUGE regional airport parking lot. Back in the day, drivers ed. was part of our high school curriculum. We had the driver "simulator" trailer's and, after passing that portion of the training, we hit the road in some really snazzy cars, with the instructors. Got my permit at 15.5 and my first license at 16. Been a bad ass driver ever since! Fast forward....My Mom-in-law back in Chicago would only let ME drive her around in her prized car cause, I'm that good!!! Adrienne, try the stand up febreeze pods. Promise they will have your car smelling like clean laundry! Also I think it’s funny many of us scrape our rims 😂😂😂
People flash their high beams repeatedly when you don’t have your lights on. Most cars have fog lights that are on all the time so the driver isn’t aware their true head lights aren’t on.
Look at you driving! Okay, you got your license!!!!! I remember that episode of the real where they were trying to teach you how to drive. They had those orange cones set up in a lot.
Back in 2008 when I was 23 years old that’s when I started learning how to drive my auntie had realize she’s doesn’t like me taking public transportation at night coming home from basketball practice at the time, following year in 2009 at age of 24 I had failed my drivers test 3 times due to i didn’t know how to parallel parking, eventually I finally past and just 3 months later my auntie gave me a black 2004 Chevy Tahoe I definitely love it and i gave my auntie a big huge hug for buying my first new vehicle and Adrienne if you do read my comment let this be a good inspirational story for you since you started driving in your mid 30’s, I’m very proud of you I hope you enjoy your Range Rover it’s absolutely awesome and fully loaded. 😊
I know this because my Dad is a mechanic. Besides damaging the look of your wheels you need to know that you are grinding off or shaving material off which over time will throw off the balance of the wheels so you would need to get your tires balanced and aligned. Also, sitting too close to the wheel is more dangerous if you were to get into an accident but you are also short so I don't think you can be too far from it lol
Girl!! I've been driving for exactly a month now at 28 and I do exactly the same. I put the navigator on, my music first, I make sure to choose my lane with time if I know there's an exit I need to take, I keep my new car extra clean, wash it weekly, etc. 🤍🎉
Car sick tip.. ride shotgun.. I know it sounds funny but a dr told me it has to do with you seeing the road back seat you cant see the road ahead so I always rode shotgun or center backseat and it worked 😊
I'm 19 and still don't know how to drive but practice once in a while. I'm in college and would have to arrange rides to take me to campus and back home. It's a hassle and hopefully I learn to drive by the age of 20.
Remembering that episode on The Real when Adrienne was learning how to drive😂❤, I'm so happy to see her driving herself....
I'm still not over the fact that she drives now, I love it!!

Adrienne get some pedal extenders. If your airbag ever goes off it could be bad with how close you are to the steering wheel. Love the car!
