Bad Central Vacuum Motors - Replace and Repair

This is not uncommon in older central vacuum motors. Demonstration of a central vacuum motor arcing. Central vacuum motors left in this condition pose a fire hazard and may result in property loss.

I have similar vac cleaner, with two motors. Recently the sucking power has reduced. Motors spinned freely with long rotor rundown. I have checked all pipes for the air leakage - all are fine. Which the motor should I check first? Which motor is responsable for creation vacuum - upper or lower?

Prime example of a fire waiting to happen. Replace the motor.

Sir my vacuum quiets after about 20 seconds of use, I hooked up the motor direct, and it still happens, brushes are like new, can you please help
