Thank you for the nice breakdown and description of functions and features. It is helpful for new engineers, and even seasoned ones, to examine these details.

So it's a very interesting vacuum turbine connected to a pretty ordinary but well designed motor.
Series universal motor = uses graphite brushes and works the same as almost every motor in every vacuum.
Operates in runaway condition = same as almost every brushed motor in every vacuum.

3:19 lol, they keep pushing the brush against the commutator ring sideways 😂
Also, 3:22, that poor fan, RIP 😥

Mine started smoking and I tore it apart. Found the white cable from switch loose, plugged it in and put it back together but it doesn't do anything when turning on or off. Any ideas?

Literally just came here to see how to take part the outside casing and they don’t show that. That would be the first step..

Does Ametek can vacuum semisolid materials, slush, such as dog’s waste, macerated food?
What recommendations do you have for such needs?
    Thank.

Can you tell me what is happening inside the motor ,actually the 3 stage fan , when suction randomly stops after the motor is running about 10 mins .. if you shut it off and start it up you have suction again, but not for too long .. but the motor runs fine at high RPM...
I got the cover off the first stage , bolt is tight , not seeing anything alarming ...

Well this was almost entirely useless. You're telling me the only way to get the fan off is to cut the post it's attached to🤦. Surely there's a better more logical solution. How tf am I supposed to replace the bearings?
