@@CheckmateStallioN right mate. I remember there was that platform challenge where you have navigate between spikes and spinners and constantly changing from human to chicken and as well changing shifts. I dont how I cleared those. And I dont wanna talk about hollow knight. That game is a glimpse of those gamers who will end up in hell as sinners.
Respectfully, this really isn't that hard at all and doesn't even require that much patience. The Hidden Floor challenge was significantly more of a gauntlet.
Here are a few tips which worked for me: 1. The easiest way of staying on one of those cylinders is to jump and dash back. The smaller the cylinder, the quicker the motion needs to be repeated. 2. Make sure you wait until the cylinders are coming down if you're planning to jump over them. It makes the jump so much easier. 3. When using Fabric of Time, make sure you're far enough away from those Purple Triangles. If you use the power when you're up close, you don't get that much of a push on the other side. This is especially useful for the bell at the top. 4. Drop a Shadow of the Simurgh before you begin the challenge. As soon as you're done collecting the third bell, hit teleport and voila! You'd have completed the quest. There's absolutely no need to painfully climb all the way back down. 5. Be patient. This is probably one of the most rage inducing platforming sections in the game and button mashing isn't going to help. The reward is a single Azure Damascus Ingot and a lore piece. The lore piece was definitely more interesting and worth the while it took me to finish the challenge. All the very best.
For anyone having trouble with this I was able to do it this way and found it a lot less stressful. Make a clone of yourself and just dedicate to getting the top one first then zip back down to the bottom. Then make another clone and go for left or right one then zip back and then one more time make a clone and go for the one you have left.
If you are already at this part of the game, you already have +4 on swords and +3 on bow. Not worth the headache to get the bow to +4 unless you are dedicated to shotgun-bow build. Arrows are not unlimited and output takes more arrows to kill than you find by killing enemies. If only there was an amulet that gives unlimited arrows, this slab would have been worth getting.
That room lasts over 2 mins and it made me question my sanity. Some of the games platforming puzzles to earn Xerxes coins, treasures etc… make you question sanity, game is super fun, very addictive and challenging, but at some point you start to wonder is your mental health really worth all this trouble.
Dont think this was a hard challenge since you have so much time. I think some of the Xerxes Coins especially in the Sand Dessert Cave where way harder.
Wasn’t too bad. Came to see how to get the topmost bell. I didn’t think they would allow the teleport with the bells since you couldn’t do it with the xerces coin challenges.
I need the metal to max out my arrow damage. From what I can tell this might be the last one to get. Worse one is that challenge room that last over 2 minutes for some pants.
@@markopantic5530 Oh thank God, I would have gone crazy if it was required of me to complete this climb in order to progress. I’ve played the trials of the Gauntlet of Shar in Baldur’s Gate 3 and I almost went crazy due to how many times I failed.
Really, so one of these is suppose to go down after talking to the guy? For me it didn't happen so thought I suppose to teleport me up, which worked but then I got stuck higher up. Now I cant talk to the guy due it just freeze kind of. So one other mission bug that cant be finished. The parrot mission was the first (cant get the parrot). Great game, but broken.
I did it without checking what the reward was. If the spikes' hitboxes weren't this finicky, it wouldn't be that bad, but even then the reward you get for it isn't really proportionate to the challenge asked for it. Sure I get not giving me too much, but at least throw some amount of time crystals or 2 upgrade items. I got so many of those slabs doing far easier challenges during the whole game.
Am I the only one who's experiencing the glitch that the chains aren't moving and the game softlocks when I try to talk to him after he already spoke to s the 1st time
This wasnt hard at all tbh, took me three tries, once you get high enough to the grapple points the those make this challenge trivial. Took me more tries getting the stupid lilac skin in the buzzsaw room than it did this.
Came on to this video to see how others did it. Done it on my 4th attempt so dont know why there are so many complaints as its really not that hard. Way nore difficulty olatforming sections in games. Like Super Meat Boy & Hollow Knights Path of Pain 🧐
"Sense of accomplishment" LMAO that must 100% be a reference to EA's "sense of pride and accomplishment" most downvoted comment on Reddit for SW: Battlefront.
the wasted seconds you have to wait every time you fail for the first platform to drop and start over are just bad design. specially if you are going to fail multiple times, it should be sync
This game really doesn't respect the player's time. Okay you wanna be Hollow Knight/Guacamellee, whatever, but what is being tested by making me wait for the slow-ass platforms to come back every time I restart, except for my patience?
I cannot believe the game designers decided to take the worst possible mechanic and make it into their path of pain. It shows how inhuman Ubisoft is, clearly not a single person cared enough to stand up and say “hey, this isn’t fun” In a game that’s all about quick and snappy movement, they turned their one shot at a memorable challenge into something slow and buggy and miserable to play. It’s almost impressive. I think this game is pretending to be good. There are so many places where it does the song and dance of a good game, but it just clearly has no passion behind it.
This is not really that hard, it's more just annoying because the movements you have to do are so repetitive for a long period of time. 2D game designers need to really learn what's hard, stupid or just plain annoying. It's things like this that make a game not fun.
You know the game hates you when you collect all three bells and the game freezes when you talk to the hermit. 🥲 Not even a true freeze, animations keep going and Sargon sits down to chill with the hermit preventing any input at all. In your face player 1. 👀😏😉🤣 Oh, and this happened twice before I found a fix. But this puzzle was much more forgiving than the one with the triangle blocks for two xerxes, I found a solution straight away - just had to work....a few times.... on the platforming. 😝
Clearly they are not aware of that fine line when gaming goes from fun to just annoying.
This is an additional challenge though for people who want smth tougher.
It's called Git Gud and honestly this doesnt look that hard. It's nowhere near Guacamelee level of challenge

that and it being linked to 2 achievements is a C**ting thing to do by Ubisoft

Thanks for the shadow tip!!! Absolutely brilliant! I got all 3 twice, just to start over due not seeing below as I dropped.

That’s a smart way to do it. That swing across move to get the farthest one seems likely to hit a spike.
I didn't even try it, 'cause it don't work with Xerxes

Yeah but the achievement for fully upgraded is locked behind this challenge 😢 no 100% for me
That was an awesome watch. Thanks for sharing!
In most platforming challenges if you use the warp feature you lose your loot. But not in this one??? Weird and inconsistent
Thanks for the tips.
I tried several times in 1 night and I only get 1 bell.
Tried again this morning and succed the second time.
Yeah, this seems like one of those challenges I'll be skipping, but it is great to see others try and succeed at it.
U have to do it for the platinum trophy 😅
its not that hard, you really just have to be patient on this one..there are definitely harder challenges than this one
This doesn’t seem so bad compared to the secret buzzsaw room.
Or the smash-block one near the top left of the map
I didn't even bother with the buzzsaw room when I learned the reward is an outfit which has no impact on the achievements.
Shitty skin to boot too
That room lasts over 2 mins and it made me question my sanity.

xerxes coins are kind of useless though the amulets you get for it are shit and you only really need a few to upgrade at the forge@@russell3436
Nice guide. Watching this beforehand made it not so difficult!
bruh that's a shit reward for all that work and stress
It's actually way better than the cosmetic you get for the secret room/dungeon.
Dont think this was a hard challenge since you have so much time. I think some of the Xerxes Coins especially in the Sand Dessert Cave where way harder.
Just looking at this gives me carpel tunnel
Wasn’t too bad. Came to see how to get the topmost bell. I didn’t think they would allow the teleport with the bells since you couldn’t do it with the xerces coin challenges.
I'm not doing all that for those small goodies lol
damascus ore aint bad especially if you just need one more
I need the metal to max out my arrow damage. From what I can tell this might be the last one to get. Worse one is that challenge room that last over 2 minutes for some pants.
The fact you only get an ingot for this is hilarious. It's like the devs are laughing at you.
Is this somewhat impossible climb apart of the main quest or just a means to get a collectible?
Just a side thing, not required in any way
@@markopantic5530 Oh thank God, I would have gone crazy if it was required of me to complete this climb in order to progress. I’ve played the trials of the Gauntlet of Shar in Baldur’s Gate 3 and I almost went crazy due to how many times I failed.
@-alex-3724 I’m not doing it. I almost went insane trying to solve all four Sacred Archive Puzzles.
The Tower of Time, the game’s last area of the main quest, has some very challenging platforming puzzles and it would drive you insane.
Really, so one of these is suppose to go down after talking to the guy? For me it didn't happen so thought I suppose to teleport me up, which worked but then I got stuck higher up. There isn't any skill that allows him to cling to the pillar to prevent slipping, meaning he can stay attached while the pillar moves up or down???
No unfortunately
I manage to get to the top and complete the quest, but boy it did took me quite a while 😂.
The platforming parts in this game are too unforgiving and the rewards, e.g. a simple coin, aren't worth it
Bragging rights if anything. "Told you I was skilled."
Looks great
Am I the only one who's experiencing the glitch that the chains aren't moving and the game softlocks when I try to talk to him after he already spoke to s the 1st time
It's crazy how this game doesn't allow you to use that shadow ability to get Xerces coin if you try to shadow back to location the coin disappears 😅
This wasnt hard at all tbh, took me three tries, once you get high enough to the grapple points the those make this challenge trivial. Took me more tries getting the stupid lilac skin in the buzzsaw room than it did this.
After beating Celeste that felt easy to complete.
This took me 1 hours to complete
That was painful as hell
With all disrespect to the devs but all that shit for this reward 😂
Agreed with all the disrespect
I wish this were easier D:
It's takes a slim to nil miracle to make it to the top
Speak my language! He kept getting to the last bell at the top and would not let me get there. I kept looking at a spike and taking a hit

The title of the quest is so misleading, was really easy compared to the other challenges the game throws at you
One ingot!?!……ONE INGOT??!!😤
"It took us about a dozen tries"
... yeah and the rest 🤣
Damned Ubisoft
Lol all that for those rewards lmao
let's play afterimage - way better metroidvania title
the wasted seconds you have to wait every time you fail for the first platform to drop and start over are just bad design. specially if you are going to fail multiple times, it should be sync
Ye this is where I depart.
I guess I'm on my 30th try or something. I'l continue trying but this part is heavily annoying.
LOL no way... One try after my comment I made it :D

Beat'ed it without the guide, lol
Yeah screw this
Worst challenge in the game. I died of boredom more often than from actually fing up
how about you show the map so people can find the mission?
good job not showing your map

What the hell was the developers thinking when they made this game period, some of the plaforming in this game is highly annoying.
Most difficult platforming sections are optional, I don't see the problem here
I personally think it's great.
The platforming in this game sucks. Truthfully, i never liked the platforming in prince of persia games
"It took us probably a dozen tries"
Bro literally nobody believes that lol
