- This video is a part of Conservation Strategy Fund's collection of environmental economic lessons and was made possible thanks to the support of the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation and the Marcia Brady Tucker Foundation. This series is for individuals who want to learn - or review - the basic economics of conservation. In this video, you will be introduced to the concept of scenarios within a cost benefit analysis. You will learn about cost effectiveness analysis projects and how to consider the various costs and benefits involved.

shout out to that vaccine foreshadowing in 2014. what is the cost-benefit of people not taking the vaccine?
or the lockdowns...
@@2367J lol, initial lockdowns were great for the climate/conservation
@@sammcalilly107 Cool, now prove it was worth the cost
@@2367J i’m gonna leave that one up to economists of the future, otherwise i’m afraid my proof will be subjective. aka i’m not equiped or qualified to prove either way
Is there a difference between Cost-Beniefit and Pros and Cons?
If not, everyone's answer will not be the same. What you value makes a difference. Do you know what you value? Or don't value? Do you know values can change?
Holy shit, you talk so FAST!
Hi Hans, thanks for your feedback. I have a couple of suggestions - you can adjust the speed of the video by clicking on the small gear in the lower right of the video screen. You should see "speed" on the menu there, and can adjust the speed to your liking. You can also turn on the closed captioning for this video, which will make the words appear on the bottom of the screen. This may make it easier to follow. Best of luck and thanks for watching!
Covid?
That is NOT how a dam looks like, great video otherwise
