"Lorna Shore is popular so they suck" is what's behind all of those claims. It's so tiring seeing people hate bands that have success.

I love Lorna Shore and their new music. I think it's an awesome album, I just do wish they switched things up more than they do. Like it's a great album, just could be better. It's just quite a few things sound a lil too similar.

Deathcore bands typically have a formula; black metal bands typically have a formula; symphonic metal bands typically have a formula... merge the 3 and they're going to have a formula. And it's a formula that's working very, *very* well. It's also one they've been perfecting since Psalms.

A parallel shift, a world in slow motion," the solos nuts, all the breakdowns. great way to open an album.
Honestly, fucking bravo to them. They blew up IMMENSELY in just one year and they are now featured in the Main Metal releases on Spotify along with other BIG bands. Say what you want about them not being "in their peak right now" but they really pushed the genre OUT there.
Soulless existence has the top spot for me.

@@blairneve4742 with this new album they've become my top favourite band, after being at least top 4 beforehand. It's symphonic cinemacore (storyline throughout their entire discography) with super low tuning and it's amazing!! Hope you enjoy.

@@Shiro_nin lmao everyone likes different artists/styles to different extents... there's no yes or no with music taste, I just prefer gloom over lorna. I could however list many reasons why the gloom album is better and much more diverse musically, more creative and more well-written than the lorna shore album, as well as taking into account the difference between band popularity and income.
