An amazing game room layout, without question. Lots of variety, and those GameCube oddities are staggering to see altogether. Also love how many Tiger Handhelds you have, as they really do pop display-wise. Loved this updated game room tour man!
I have been a hobbyist/collector of certain things of interest since a young age 13ish so in the 50+ years only three of these have stuck with me until this day video games being one of these. You have an amazing collection and as long as it brings you joy thats worth its wait in gold. Not to mention if there comes a time when your tired of it or need some money there has been very few game related, pocket knife or vintage airguns that I haven't made a pretty substantial profit on. Lastly in can get a little overwhelming so I am selling some things that don't grab me like they once did. Great Video Thanks!
Beautifully displayed collection. I love how everything has its own space and is easily visible. You've got a great eye for curating, organizing and displaying. My favourite happy meal toys are the Muppet Babies!
Heck yeah to 3D printing! I was gonna bring up printing super mario coin boxes, but I saw you had some made with the question marks and dots ready for glue up. Happy printing👊
I understand collecting things from your childhood with a certain attachment, but I’ve never really gotten collecting things that just have a logo or merch from a certain company that you have no personal nostalgia for or experience with. Just a tangential relation because they made something you did like but once you have that you feel the need to get more from them. Starts to feel like collecting just for the compulsion at that point. Nice collection though, it is definitely eclectic, guess I got recommended this because I watch retro Rick from game point.
Collecting things I like is one of the things in life that brings me joy, among other things of course. I just find new things I want to collect and get into as I go on this journey. It's a blast!
I really like your Nintendo Gamecube accessories....especially the storage case. You have a very impressive Tiger handheld collection. Nice! Good to see that your GameCube collection is coming along. We are nearly even with one another on the North American set. I wish you the best in your efforts to collect a complete PS2 set. It has taken me years to get what I have. The last 16 are really tripping me up due to my unwillingness to pay over $150. Noting that price, you can probably guess which ones I lack.....
Awesome tour brother! You definitely have a wide and expansive collection that kicks serious butt! I enjoy seeing the extra goodies as well as the games. Awesome video and game room Matt!
The game room is looking great! Love all the game related goodies. We are so focused on on growing the actual game collection we haven’t grabbed so much of the goodies except for a few things we’ve found on like goodwill and things like that for a really really great price
Nice room. Game collecting came from my family that was passed down to me. I had a uncle who was really into video games and a few years ago he gave me everything that he bought brand new in the late 70s to the early 2000s. I'm talking about Atari 2600, intellivision, colecovision, NES and so on. Game collecting for my uncle stopped after the life cycle of the PS2. Everything I have still to this day is cib and I have never sold any of it. I have all the bangers from those consoles and games people have never got to experience playing because a lot of these games I have never made it to production but they're like demos and not the full versions of games. I have earthbound, power blade 2, and many other expensive games but I don't look at how expensive they are. I enjoy playing the heck out of the games despite the price of it.
I enjoyed that buddy, thanks for sharing. I like your ethos (similar to mine), curate the collection with games you have an attachment to, want to play, etc. Get rid of the things that hold no nostalgic/emotional value.
Wow man! Your updated collection is stellar. I really like all of the oddities that you've collected. Having grown up in the 90s, the Tiger handhelds are very nostalgic to me. I'm excited to hear that in addition to obtaining a complete NA set of the GameCube, you are also going for a complete NA set of the PS2. The PS2 is my favorite console. I look forward to watching your journey with completing both sets. Much respect!
Loved the display of your collection. One improvement point: the music cuts over the last 1.5 seconds of your voice every time, making it jarring for me.
And now we are considering ds as a retro console how time flies. Wish i can get a 2ds zelda edition but that item is rare and damn expensive here in my country
What a great collection and displayed very well I love how you have all your games like the GameCube in one section on shelves displayed nicely good luck getting all the PS2 games they're like about 2000 of them and a few of them are banned now like the guys game you can't even buy it on eBay I was lucky to get one years ago before they took it off the market my only complaint, and it's not even a complain it's more of a pet peeve your toys a few of them the bubbles were really yellowed I think it just downgrades the look of your room and the way it's displayed, to me it just stands out like but overall room still looks amazing.
Sweet setup dude! That Mario toy chest is cherry! You hardly ever see them in that good of condition. Great Tiger handheld set. How expensive is that Bucky O’Hare one? I literally just saw one for $50 at PGX yesterday. It was cool but I had no idea about value in them. Lots of amazing items here man. 🤙🏻
For the Lego sets for Nintendo I recommend Zelda set. It’s such a fun build you either build breadth of the wild deku tree or the ocarina of time deku tree. Figures and accessories are also a nice bonus with the set. Love the game room tour.
Amazing collection! Thank you for sharing. I was wondering if you were ever interested in collecting the 2 pack Player’s Choice GameCube variants? There’s a total of three of them.
Awesome room Matt - you've got some killer collectables! Can I ask what are those modular black shelves that you are using with the shelves/hooks from?
Dude, very well curated collection 👌 some seriously cool pieces in there. But, I hope you were joking when you said that you’re going to be trying for a complete ps2 set… that is quite the undertaking sir 😅 but if you’re serious, I solute your bravery lol
I'm not sure how far away you are from me but from your dunlap video game store I know not too crazy so was gonna let you know I'm doing a big yardsale in jasper tn and I'm sure there would be plenty you would be interested in this Saturday
I went to grumpys today. I dont know which booth is yours, but there is a loaded video game booth on the 1st level. I picked up 3 games and an n64 memory card today.
Good luck in getting the last of the North American GC stuff to complete the collection; please complete the full Japanese GC set afterwards. Some of that are expensive, but do your best. Please get the last of the cheaper GC games before more of the expensive ones.
Why the protective cases for games that are in dvd cases already? I get it for NES games that shipped in cardboard boxes, but I have hundreds of games in plastic dvd style cases and they look just as they did when I bought them.
Helps to keep them clean, dust free, and better protected. And I think it makes them look better on the shelf. I don't take chances with my collection. I want as much protection as I can get
So is your game room the Wolf’s Den or The Wolf’s Lair? I remember that Donkey Kong Bobble Head. When I got it it was bundled with the silver GBA when they first released the Silver model.
The only retro that’s worth collecting starts from the arcade machines Atari NES Super Nintendo turbo graphics Panasonic 360 PSX I can go on all failed on video games you go to the arcade when the retro games gets released the games play bad that all ended when Xbox one PS4 Nintendo Switch got released PS3 Xbox 360 were ok also but the PS2 original didn’t play retro games until a certain time Dreamcast never had a perfect arcade version on namco museum it played marvel Vs capcom perfect but never Pac-Man the consoles that failed you can buy them such as the 8 bit 16 bit and the PSX classic mini the consoles that didn’t fail will never be sold in mini classic
An amazing game room layout, without question. Lots of variety, and those GameCube oddities are staggering to see altogether. Also love how many Tiger Handhelds you have, as they really do pop display-wise. Loved this updated game room tour man!

Incredible collection! The whole display of the room looks amazing! Everything has its place and it looks quality! Very impressed
Thanks you I appreciate that!

Thats awesome to hear! I was hoping I'd have some cool stuff people had never seen!
Heck yeah to 3D printing! I was gonna bring up printing super mario coin boxes, but I saw you had some made with the question marks and dots ready for glue up. Happy printing👊
I am having so much fun with it! I'm learning how to 3D model too
I'm not going to lie... it's weird seeing you do a tour of your own game room 😂
It's really amazing, and I can't wait to see how it grows from here
Lol
That Kobe Bryant courtside bobble head is so cool! Lol
It is! Still pretty cheap too for now
Love the change inside of your game room mate! Looks amazing! 😎👍🎮
Appreciate it dude!

That Pog Set 10:35 !!! Dude that’s so sick , i’m 20 definitely out my league lol but that is a legendary piece 🔥
Haha hell yeah thanks!
Hell yeah! Exactly what i needed today! Thank you. :)
Thats awesome to hear! Glad you enjoyed it!

Great video! I hope I can own a home one day and have my own game/collectables room just like this
I hope you do too! I'm rooting for ya!
Nice curated collection and the layout is sweet.
Thanks dude!
What an awesome tour! You're down to just 24 GameCube games, so good luck with finding the rest of them!
Definitely completing it in 2025!
I enjoyed that buddy, thanks for sharing. I like your ethos (similar to mine), curate the collection with games you have an attachment to, want to play, etc. Get rid of the things that hold no nostalgic/emotional value.

I need that Double Dragon board game! 🙌 killer game room!
It's pretty sweet!
Great collection Matt!

Haven't watched the video, but I saw the orange cat tale, so now I have to watch it all. Carry on!

Very nice collection, displayed nicely and very clean
Thanks! 🤘

Super Mario Sunshine is probably my favorite Nintendo game
It's a great game!
Nice collection Wolf keep grinding 🤘
The grind never ends!
Cowabunga dude, happy for you, you've earned it. Keep up the great work.
Thanks! 💪
Very nice tour. Can’t wait to have room to do one.
Fingers crossed you can make it happen!
Retrowolf lowk reminds me of Bobby Hill in the best way, no shade. Cool stuff!
Hahaha that's awesome 😎

I think it's pretty rare here too sadly

Love the room! You gotta tell me about those Ninja Turtle paintings you have, those are amazing!
Those were done by the talented Andy AKA Pacmancase on UA-cam!

Definitely going to get that lego set soon!
Dog water bowl story FTW! I like to think it was a wolf bowl 🐺
Haha dude when that happened I was VERY angry 🤣
I haven’t seen a game room tour of yours in so long.
Amazing collection! Thank you for sharing. I was wondering if you were ever interested in collecting the 2 pack Player’s Choice GameCube variants? There’s a total of three of them.
Maybe one day, but right now they are not a priority

You just gained a Sub I didn't know you are from Chatanooga as am I
Hey hey! I am sort of near Chattanooga but not really if that makes sense. Chattanooga-ish haha. Thanks for the sub I appreciate ya!
So is your game room the Wolf’s Den or The Wolf’s Lair? I remember that Donkey Kong Bobble Head. When I got it it was bundled with the silver GBA when they first released the Silver model.
I kind of like Wolf's Den!!
Alot of cool stuff, but way to much black in the room for me. You gotta lightin it up some in my opinion
Haha so the paint scheme was NES themed. That is why it is black, gray and red. I am repainting it when I redo the game room though
As an adult in my 30s, I prefer the adult Lego toys
Agreed
How much is the full CIB Game Cube collection, minus the around 20 or so games you still don't have?
My current GameCube collection is worth around $15,000 and I have around another $3,000 worth of games to get
Thoughts on the N64? Do you have a limited collection of N64?
Absolutely love the N64! I used to have over 200 games but I sold them. I'll get some of that collection back eventually
u dont have the mario + yoshi lego from super mario world ( i really want the new zelda set, it looks incredible
I have it i just have not put it together yet
Will we get more VHS Voyage?
Not for the foreseeable future sadly. Maybe one day!
Where did you get those plastic protectors
Www.retroprotection.com such a great company!
Tell me you don't live in a hurricane/tornado/flood zone would hate for all that to go to waste.
Tornado yes but very rare in my location
Where did you get that boxed LCD Pool/Billards game?
I don't remember
Do you have any Mario Bros. stuff?
