BAE, originally BAe, stands for British Aerospace. I looked up the tail number on the T-33. It turns out that the actual plane that the model's livery is based upon was made in Canada. It's a Canadian made T-33, full model name would be Canadair CT-133 Silver Star 3, a licensed version of the Lockheed T-33. Some 665 of them were built a the Canadair plant in Montreal, which is about a 2 and bit our drive from where I live.

The red arrows "Gnat" is an amazing bogh speed design, my dad used to have a red arrows glider which was amazing in hard wind if you still want to fly. EDF didn't exist in the 80s
I had no idea the Arrows brand went back that far. Wow! In my opinion, easily right up there with the best of them! 👍💯😎⚓️

That is based on the RAF Red Arrows BAE systems Hawk T1 (previously Hawker siddley)
We convert them to Reds at RAF Valley from Black trainer jets.

I have been flying the zee 2200s 4s for a while now and they are great. I also use the 5000s on my rc trucks 🔥🔥🔥I struggle to get anywhere near 2200mah tho. What are you putting back into them? It says 7percent when I start charging and struggle to get 1400 back into them. I believe they maybe 1800s or I just got a couple of lemons
Zeee packs are all I run in all of my planes. But again, 4s in the arrows 50mm EDFs!! You won’t be disappointed!!

@@TheRcSaylors I watched every video on UA-cam about it because I was hesitant also thinking the 30a esc would go poof, but no regrets. Yes I fly mine on 2200mah 4s, my 50mm viper is a hair nose heavy with it all the way back but the 50mm avanti balances out nice also with it all the way back.

Really happy with my Zee 3S packs so far. They have survived some insane crashes doing speed runs, so I vouch for their durability. I got 2 of them and a Tenergy charger for about $74!

Yeah I’m pretty sure I was cranked all the way up. Have a larger battery in there, so that makes it a bit harder to get in the air. ⚓️
Using zee batteries last few years..even with price bump now it's still a better deal than spektrum batts.

I have a question to anyone more experienced than I am, I'm pretty new to this hobby and considering buying the nx6. My question is if it only has a rechargeable lipo battery or can I use AA's?
The NX6 comes with a 2200mah Li-ion battery, it wont accept AA batteries.
Arrows makes quality products, other than Freewing. Arrows RC Aircraft is my second favorite.

Which receiver can I use in the BAE Hawk to take advantage of the flight stabalization??
ANY RX will work as long as it has 4 channels! 👍💯😎⚓️
Wanted to add:
1 channel for throttle
1 for ailerons
1 for elevator
1 for the flight stab! It can be assigned to a two or three position switch and just works perfectly! No programming required ❤️💯⚓️
The rx also has to have stabilisation capabilities. Not every receiver has just in case you are completely new and didn't know this 👍🏼
That’s NOT true regarding the RX needing stability. I use good old “dumb” RXs with Vector and it works just fine! Remember, the airplane has its own flight stabilization built in. All it needs is an empty RX spot and shabam!! It works! 👍💯❤️⚓️

Nate those zee packs are absolute garbage. I would not be using or recommending them to anyone. I've gone through a bunch of different types and these take the cake for the worst battery ever.
